Update on Song Joong Ki Since Entering Military Service

The 22nd Recruit Training Battalion revealed some latest news on Song Joong Ki.

On September 10, a high official in the 22nd Recruit Training Battalion shared, “Song Joong Ki is receiving a lot of praise from his recruit division. He’s adjusting well and is getting along very well with his fellow recruits. He has a sincere and easygoing personality, but I heard that he hasn’t complained even though the training is difficult.”

Song Joong Ki enlisted for military service on August 27 and immediately started his mandatory basic military training in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do before being assigned to a unit as an active soldier. However, his division will receive six weeks of basic training instead of the usual four to five weeks.

An official from the 22nd Recruit Training Battalion stated, “Because of scheduling difficulties with having a few holidays like Chuseok, Hangeul Day, and other military holidays, the training will be finished on October 10.”
