Ben Affleck will direct "The Middle Man" Fox pilot

In high demand after his Best Director Oscar win, Fox has nabbed Ben Affleck to direct the new pilot "The Middle Man."
Also serving as executive producer, the "Argo" star will begin production on the television project in early 2014.
"The Middle Man" follows the relationship between an anti-mafia FBI agent and his Irish-American gangster informant in 1960s Boston.
Though the cast has yet to be announced, Emmy Award nominee Glenn Gordon Caron has already written the pilot script.
