Derek Hough is reportedly having the time of his life with a new love, as sources confirm the “Dancing with the Stars” hunk is dating Nina Dobrev.
A source told E! News the couple started their romantic flame in August, while another claims their relationship is “somewhat serious.”
Stoking their romance rumors, Nina tweeted congrats to her man after his big win Sunday night (September 22), sharing, "@Derekhough !!!!!!!! #EMMYWINNER I cant express in 140 characters how unbelievably excited+incredibly proud I am of you. You deserve this."
In another post, the “Vampire Diaries” cutie shared a photo of her bestie Julianne Hough and her rumored beau, writing, "I wish I wasnt filming so I could have been there to celebrate w/u guys!"
Dobrev didn’t stop there, posting a third tweet, which read, "@derekhough Those of us touched by your light got to watch you brighten up the rest of the world. Keep shining!"
Meanwhile, Derek responded to the ample amount of support, simply tweeting, "Your the best babe."
Dobrev split from her longtime boyfriend/co-star Ian Somerhalder last spring.
