Taylor Swift opens education center in Nashville

Proud day: Taylor opens the centre after her $4 million donation helped to get it up and running
Hoping to inspire young musicians everywhere, Taylor Swift opened a $4 million education center on Saturday (October 12) in Nashville.
Housed at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum as part of their expansion, the center offers up classroom space, instruments and other activities for youngsters visiting the landmark.
Thrilled to be able to help out, the 23-year-old songstress told reporters “I’m really excited about this music education center and the fact that right now they have three different classes going on today. It’s really exciting that we can be here on a day when they’re not only unveiling it, but they’re starting to actively use it today.”
Fully intending to be a presence at the space, she continued, ”We’ve been talking about different programs I can be involved in.”
