Fast & Furious 6 tops box-office with $119.3million

'Fast & Furious 6' Tops Biggest Memorial Day Weekend Box Office Ever
Fast & Furious 6 is on track to make a whopping $119.3 million, topping this weekend’s box office and making it the biggest Memorial Day Weekend opening ever!
According to THR, the action flick, starring Dwayne “The Rock” JohnsonPaul Walker, and Vin Diesel, also earned an estimated $150 million overseas, giving it a worldwide total of just over $270 million.
Coming in at number two was The Hangover III, the final installment of the comedy franchise with Bradley CooperEd HelmsJustin Bartha, and Zach Galifianakis, which is projected to bring in $65 million for its five-day opening.
The J.J. Abrams-directed Star Trek Into Darkness, starring Chris PineZachary Quinto, and Zoe Saldana, claimed the number three spot with approximately $38 million.
The star-studded animated flick Epic, and Robert Downey Jr‘s Iron Man 3 rounded out the top four and five spots with $34.2 million and $19.4 million earned, respectively.
Meanwhile, The Great Gatsby – starring Leonardo DiCaprioCarey Mulligan, and Tobey Maguire – stayed strong with about $13.7 million.
