Miley Cyrus covers Cosmopolitan magazine

Miley Cyrus is bedazzled in jewels on the December 2013 cover of Cosmopolitan magazine.
Here’s what the 20-year-old entertainer had to share with the mag:
On her insane year: “Everything is so chaotic and crazy right now and it’s so much all at once, but I’m living for it. I’m just having the best time ever and everything’s falling into place like it’s supposed to. Even people who want to hate on me, they can’t even shut down the fact that I’m literally what everyone is talking about. I don’t want to say that I’m on top right now – I feel like I’m kind of an underdog in a cool way. It’s almost punk rock to like me because it’s not the right thing to do. Like, society wants to shut me down.”
On her VMA performance: “When people started complaining about the awards show, I was like, ‘Have you never seen the f-cking video?’ And what if I hadn’t done that performance? The VMAs would have been bad. They would have been missing something. The show was kind of making fun of how serious the pop industry is.”
On being single: “I need to treat my music like a relationship – give it my time and all the attention it deserves – and that’s my main love right now. This is the best time of my life. I’m not going to look back on it and be like, ‘I wish I hadn’t been dwelling over a breakup,’ you know? Because that’s not what God wants my life to be about right now. God wants my life to be about being successful and being happy and blessing other people and being blessed.”

Kelly Clarkson covers Billboard magazine

With her new Christmas album, Wrapped in Red, slated to hit stores October 29th, Kelly Clarkson scored the cover for Billboard magazine's latest issue.
While donning a gorgeous red dress for the Jeremy Cowart-shot spread, the "Stronger" hitmaker shared details about her new album and revealed her views on what Christmas is really about.
On creating a Christmas album: "I've been dying to make a Christmas album. I always get asked what genre I'm in: 'Is this country or pop or rock? What are you?' And what's cool about making the Christmas album was, ' Oh, there are no limitations! We can do whatever we want!'"
On her non-traditional song "Just For Now":
"I just love that song. That was my family Christmas-highly dysfunctional, like, 'Can we just stop for like five minutes and have like a normal Christmas setting?"
On Christmas' true meaning:
"The thing about Christmas is that it almost doesn't matter what mood you're in or what kind of a year you've had - it's a fresh start. I'm going to clear the air and take stock of the good that's happening."

Josh Hutcherson covers Seventeen magazine

With his upcoming flick "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" nearing its anticipated premiere, Josh Hutcherson fronts the November 2013 issue of Seventeen magazine.
During his Q&A session with the publication, the 21-year-old actor chatted about relationships and declared he's funnier than his good friend/co-star Jennifer Lawrence.
On the Who's Funnier Debate:
"We have this debate all the time - I think it's me! This sounds mean, but it's true, and Jennifer would agree. Her thing is being shocking, goofy, and silly - which is amazing, and it takes a talented person to do that. I like to be more clever and witty. But if you had to go on who gets more laughs, I'd say she'd be the winner."
On dating for the wrong reasons:
"I was blind at first by looks, by love, whatever. I've been known to fall and quick for girls, which I think is better than not falling at all."
On going through breakups:
"I think getting broken up with is worse than breaking up with somebody... For me, it hurts more when you're ready for something to keep going and the other person isn't."
On having a platonic friendship with girls:
"I think the most important thing is being upfront about what the relationship is. If I just want to be friends with a girl, I'll establish that early on by talking about other girls, so she knows that I'm not interested in her like that."
On resolving conflicts:
"I'm good at fighting. Not that I like to fight, but when there's a disagreement, I'm good at finding a solution, or knowing when to just let it go and make up."

Kate Winslet covers Vogue magazine

She’s been busy promoting her new film “Labor Day,” and Kate Winslet looks lovely in her cover shot for Vogue's November 2013 issue.
The “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” actress worked with noted lensman Mario Testino for the photo shoot, gracefully flaunting her ever-growing baby bump.
And it sounds like Kate was full of pregnancy hormones, as writer Vicki Woods refers to her as a “feisty little madam in a maternity dress.”
Case in point, Winslet got a little mouthy with Testino during the session, brazenly asking, “Actually, Mario, do you even know how to take a fackin’ photograph?”
Speaking of maternity, Kate recently admitted she’s been experiencing some cravings as of late. "At the moment I seem to be wanting orange juice a lot. I don't know quite why that is, but it's not so weird. I wish I could tell you I had some weird craving. I wish I could be like that woman on the advert who loves tuna fish and banana, but I'm not like that at all."

Chris Hemsworth covers DETAILS magazine

With his new superhero flick "Thor: The Dark World" set to hit theaters November 8th, Chris Hemsworth scored the cover spot of DETAILS magazine's November 2013 issue.
While rocking a few poses for the Mark Seliger-shot spread, the 30-year-old actor chatted about his role as the thundergod and revealed the ups and downs of his busy, successful career.
On playing Thor: "Three and a half years playing the same character can be sort of mind-numbing. My character was in a fire, a cyclone, a helicopter crash, a plane crash. I was hoping for a big, dramatic death."
On his career:
"I've worked my a** off over the years, but I can't help but see that, relatively speaking, it all has been rather quick. No other job forces you to think about yourself this much. That's a scary thing, because before you know it, it's all pointed inward. You're taught to think, 'Okay, what do I want out of this scene? How am I feeling here?' Then it's like, 'Awww, f*** off, I.' You start to hate 'I.'"
On his acting luck:
"There's brief payout, and then the bar shifts again. I think that's human nature. It keeps you moving forward, but it needs to be tempered a bit, too. I've been working solidly for a couple of years now, to the point where I have to slow down and spend some time with my family. You spend so long having your hand up, saying, 'C'mon, c'mon - pick me!' there's a fear of saying no to things. It's bred into you. I get s*** sent to me and I think, 'I should probably just take this.' But now I try to say, 'Hold on - do you even like it?' I do have a little control now. That's the transition - I'm not at the mercy of someone else so much."
On taking a role in "Rush":
"It was incredibly satisfying to be on a much more intimate set, focused on the truth of a scene, as opposed to 'Now swing on a wire and smash the bad guy with your ax. The fear, the newness is what keeps you on your game."

Taylor Swift covers InStyle magazine

Taylor Swift shows off her green side on the cover of InStyle magazine’s November 2013 issue.
Here’s what the 23-year-old singer had to share with the mag:
On whether she’s ever been in love: “I think that you can love people without it being the great love. Ed [Sheeran] said something that really resonated with me. He says there are different kinds of love: There’s physical attraction, mental attraction, and emotional attraction; there’s also comfort and obsession. You need to have all of those things in one person. You have to mentally respect them, be physically attracted, and have a comfort level. You’re obsessed with them, yet you also know they’re going to stay. I’ve never had that in one person.”
On her perfect guy: “My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting. That’s just a phase I’ve been in lately. I don’t think this should be how I proceed in life. It’s important to be self-aware about these things because you don’t want to end up with that guy.”
On insecurities: “Every single part of me has been dissected at some point or another by a blog writer or a 14-year-old girl on a comments page who says something really terrible. Or someone in middle school who points out [fakes a mean girl voice], ‘You have little eyes.’”

Madonna covers Harper's Bazaar magazine

She's a musical sensation, and now Madonna graces the cover of Harper's Bazaar November 2013 issue.
During her revealing Q&A session with the publication, the "Material Girl" singer shared her horrible experience during her first year in New York City and her Kabbalah studies.
On her childhood: "That may sound rather extremist, but growing up in a suburb in the Midwest was all I needed to understand that the world was divided into two categories: people who followed the status quo and played it safe, and people who threw convention out the window and danced to the beat of a different drum. I hurled myself into the second category, and soon discovered that being a rebel and not conforming doesn't make you very popular. In fact, it does the opposite. You are viewed as a suspicious character. A troublemaker. Someone dangerous."
On her first experiences in NYC:
"New York wasn't everything I thought it would be. It did not welcome me with open arms. The first year, I was held up at gunpoint. Raped on the roof of a building I was dragged up to with a knife in my back, and had my apartment broken into three times. I don't know why; I had nothing of value after they took my radio the first time. The tall buildings and the massive scale of New York took my breath away. The sizzling-hot sidewalks and the noise of the traffic and the electricity of the people rushing by me on the streets was a shock to my neurotransmitters. I felt like I had plugged into another universe. I felt like a warrior plunging my way through the crowds to survive. Blood pumping through my veins, I was poised for survival. I felt alive.
On her studies in Kabbalah:
"When the world discovered I was studying Kabbalah, I was accused of joining a cult. I was accused of being brainwashed. Of giving away all my money. I was accused of all sorts of crazy things. If I became a Buddhist—put an altar in my house and started chanting "Nam-myoho-renge-kyo"—no one would have bothered me at all. I mean no disrespect to Buddhists, but Kabbalah really freaked people out. It still does. Now, you would think that studying the mystical interpretation of the Old Testament and trying to understand the secrets of the universe was a harmless thing to do. I wasn't hurting anybody. Just going to class, taking notes in my spiral notebook, contemplating my future. I was actually trying to become a better person."
On her life as of now:
"I have been blessed with four amazing children. I try to teach them to think outside the box. To be daring. To choose to do things because they are the right thing to do, not because everybody else is doing them. I have started making films, which is probably the most challenging and rewarding thing I have ever done. I am building schools for girls in Islamic countries and studying the Qur'an. I think it is important to study all the holy books. As my friend Yaman always tells me, a good Muslim is a good Jew, and a good Jew is a good Christian, and so forth. I couldn't agree more. To some people this is a very daring thought."

Demi Lovato covers Teen Vogue magazine

Taking time away from the "Glee" and "X Factor" sets, Demi Lovato scored the cover spot of Teen Vogue's November 2013 issue.
While donning designer duds from American Apparel and Louis Vuitton for the Giampaolo Sgura-shot spread, the "Heart Attack" hitmaker dished about her body image issues and life since her 2010 rehab stint.
On dealing with body criticism: "I don't have the body of a model or Barbie. My main thing about being in the spotlight with my fans is, I want to be real to them. I have my problem areas, but I'm happy in my skin right now. I'm not going to be sacrifice my mental health to have the perfect body."
On avoiding the cookie cutter-Hollywood image:
"You've gotta be honest with people around you. And honest with yourself. When you're having a rough day, be like, 'I don't want to talk about this, but i need to get it off my chest.' If you have a secret - secrets make you sick."
On life after rehab:
"It may seem boring to other people, but my whole life I've lived at a really intense level - whether it's fame or this or that. I've always worked really hard. Now I've gotten to the place where I'm healthy, happy. And my family is happy and healthy. When I do have free time, I love just sitting here and inviting people over and watching movies, or going to the movies. It's a big night for me if I go bowling."
On looking for her ideal man:
"Someone who loves me and appreciates me for who I am. Who I can hang out with in sweatpants and no makeup, because that's what I do when I have my time off."

Jennifer Lawrence covers Harper's Bazaar UK magazine

Her new movie “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is slated to hit theaters next month, and Jennifer Lawrence looks stunning on the cover of the November 2013 issue of Harper's Bazaar UK magazine.
In her interview, the “Winter’s Bone” babe discusses the initial criticism over her weight when she kicked off her role as Katniss. “I was young. It was just the kind of sh*t that actresses have to go through. Somebody told me I was fat, that I was going to get fired if I didn’t lose a certain amount of weight. They brought in pictures of me where I was basically naked, and told me to use them as motivation for my diet. It was just that. [Someone brought it up recently] They thought that because of the way my career had gone, it wouldn’t still hurt me. That somehow, after I won an Oscar, I’m above it all. ‘You really still care about that?’ Yeah. I was a little girl. I was hurt. It doesn’t matter what accolades you get. I know it’ll never happen to me again. If anybody even tries to whisper the word ‘diet’, I’m like, ‘You can go f*ck yourself.’”
And it sounds like J. Law enjoys a certain snack while working on her myriad movies- “My bodyguard Gilbert, right before they call ‘action,’ I’m like, ‘If there aren’t Cheez-Its here by the time they call cut, just go home.’ And he’ll start running. It cracks me up how seriously he takes it …. It’s not my performance that is motivating me. I want to get the on-set catering.”
Jennifer also shares some static she received for her 2013 Oscars speech- “[The other person said] Other people are getting up and owning the stage and you sound like a stuttering idiot. Pull it together.’ And I said, ‘I’m not doing it on purpose, I’m uncomfortable and when people get uncomfortable they resort to their sh*t. I make awkward jokes and stutter. That was actually a moment when I really wanted it to be special. That was not the time I wanted to be the Down-home Girl. I wanted to be graceful.”

Jay Z covers Vanity Fair magazine

He's gearing up for the start of his Magna Carter World Tour and during promotions, Jay Z scored the cover spot of Vanity Fair's November 2013 issue
During his interview with the publication, the "Holy Grail" hitmaker chatted about his daughter Blue Ivy's love for music and details about his drug dealing past.
On Blue's love for music: "She does like her mother's music - she watches [Beyonce's concerts] on the computer every night. But my album came out and I don't know if Blue ever heard any of my music prior to this album - she's only 18 months old and I don't play my music around the house. But this album was new, so we played it. And she loves all the songs. She plays a song and goes, 'More, Daddy, more... Daddy song.' She's my biggest fan. If no one bought the Magna Carta [album], the fact that she loves it so much, it gives me the greatest joy. And that's not like a cliche. I'm really serious. Just to see her - 'Daddy song, more, Daddy.' She's genuine, she's honest, because she's doesn't know it makes me happy. She just wants to hear it."
On copyrighting Blue's name:
"People wanted to make products based on our child's name and you don't anybody trying to benefit off your baby's name. It wasn't for us to do anything as you see, we haven't done anything."
On selling drugs:
"I know about budgets. I was a drug dealer. To be in a drug deal, you need to know what you can spend, what you need to re-up. Or if you want to start some sort of barbershop or car wash- those were the businesses back then. Things you can get in easily to get of [that] life. At some point, you have to have an exit strategy, because your window is very small; you're going to get locked up or you're going to die."
On dealing with tabloid drama:
"It's so stupid. You know, I felt dismissive about it, but you've got to feel for her. I mean, we've got a really charmed life, so how can we complain? But when you think about it, we're still human beings."

Taylor Swift covers Glamour UK magazine

She's had a bought of bad relationships, but that hasn't stopped Taylor Swift from continuing to search for Mr. Perfect.
In the November 2013 issue of Glamour UK, the "Love Story" songstress opens up about finding love and even shared her opinion of Miley Cyrus.
On relationships: "Here's what I've learned about deal-breakers. If you have enough natural chemistry with someone, you overlook every single thing that you said would break the deal."
On forgiving cheaters:
"I've seen my friends take someone back after they've cheated because they fit perfectly. But I don't know, because I've never had a perfect fit with someone."
On relationships with celebs:
"You can say, 'I'm never gonna date a high-profile person in the arts!' But whoever i date, famous or not - whether I ever date again - all chaos will break loose. With fabrication and frantic obsession and who likes who more and who it ended. But right now is easy because I'm single and happy, and it's very relaxing."
On Miley Cyrus:
"There's room for role models who make mistakes. There's clearly room for role models who are made fun of at award shows, but that I necessarily enjoy being poked fun at! But that's gonna happen to them too. Whether in a board meeting or in school or on Facebook, where they'll get humiliated publicly. And if I can say, 'Yeah, I've taken a few hits over the years and I'm still going, I'm still happy!' maybe that's an example. It's not just about standing on top of a mountain with the wind blowing in your hair, looking fabulous."
On avoiding the tabloids:
"I never read one hateful thing said about me by some 12 year old. So I got to live an actual life. And I've kept that mentality. Just because there's a hurricane going on around you doesn't mean you have to open the window and look at it. You can be obsessed with bad things people say and the good things, either way you're obsessed with yourself and I'm not - you can become unhinged so easily. Vanity can apply to both insecurity and egotism. So I distance myself, because I feel everything. The little I am exposed to hurts my feelings. The only things I can really control are my songs and my behavior. The rest? If I focused on it, that would lead to insanity."
