Kangta and EXO took home awards from the Asian Idol Awards held in China.
At the ceremony, held in Beijing on July 28, Kangta won the 2013 Overseas Entertainer Award, while EXO got the 2013 Asia Popular Group Award.
The ceremony is in its second running, and is known to award artists who have left their footprints across Asia.
Many popular local stars such as Yang Mi, Deng Chao and more were in attendance.
EXO especially performed in the ending for the day, singing MAMA and Wolf before the 8,000 audience.
The group also showed its popularity outside of the venue, drawing thousands of fans to the airport for its entrance to the country in the morning.
Kangta has been appearing in MBC′s I Live Alone, while EXO plans to release a repackaged version of its first studio album XOXO (Kiss & Hug) and promote its next song Growl.
