Here it comes! EXO′s new music video for Growl will be released at midnight on August 1 (KST) through EXO′s official webpage, SMTown′s YouTube channel, Facebook page and Weibo.
The music video is already heading a lot of hype, as it hinted it would contain a new brand of music and performances by the group. The video′s form is also heightening expectations as it will use a one-take method, or a method that uses a steady cam and doesn′t edit what has been filmed.
A rep from SM Entertainment said, "We turned up the depth and concentration of Growl′s performance by using a unique method that makes it look like the members are in control of the camera. It will emphasize EXO′s dynamic charms, and yield videos that make it feel like fans are watching a dance movie."
The rep added, "The video has been produced in many different versions to show off EXO′s hidden skills and charms. They′ll all be released one by one soon. We′ll work hard to entertain the eyes and ears of music fans around the world."
EXO will start promoting Growl from the August 1 broadcast of Mnet′s M COUNTDOWN, and its repackage for XOXO (Kiss & Hug) will be released online and offline on August 5.
