FT Island sang its upcoming single for the first time onstage before its release.
FNC Entertainment revealed on June 3 that "FT Island performed at the Seoul Girls Collection in Tokyo, held on June 2 at the Tokyo Ariake Coliseum."
The band performed a total of four songs, including its hits I Hope, Top Secret, I Wish and the new song Freedom.
Local press and fans especially got worked up about the performance as it was the first time FT Island revealedFreedom, the promotional single of its upcoming studio album Rated-FT, to be released on June 12.
FT Island left for Japan on June 2, and from June 15 will embark on its arena tour, the FT Island Arena Tour 2013 ~Freedom~. In July and August it will also hold concerts in Singapore and Hong Kong.
In the meantime, Lee Hong Ki will make his big screen debut in Japan with Passionate Goodbye.
