Robert Downey Jr. signs on for two more The Avengers movies

Robert Downey Jr. will officially be back for two more Avengers movies. Marvel announced Thursday that the actor had signed a two-picture deal with them for Marvel's The Avengers 2, and Marvel's The Avengers 3, the first of which won't hit theaters until May 2015.
While fans still have two years to wait for that next Avengers installment, the next two movies in the franchise's continuity, Thor: The Dark World, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, are due in theaters in November this year, and April 2014 respectively.
