Reese Witherspoon attends Mud premiere after DUI arrest,mugshots revealed

Reese Witherspoon steps out in style following this weekend’s arrest for disorderly conduct en route to the Cinema Society screening of Mud held at The Museum of Modern Art on Sunday (April 21) in New York City.
The 37-year-old actress and her husband, Jim Toth, who accompanied her to the screening, were pulled over this past Friday under suspicion of driving while intoxicated, after Jim switched into the wrong lane.
Jim was given a breathalyzer, which read .139. Reese and Jim were briefly jailed and released on bond at 3:30AM ET.

The 43-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-star Reese Witherspoon, who he took pictures with on the black carpet, and cast mate Sarah Paulson.

The 37-year-old actress’ statement, which also speaks to her husband Jim Toth‘s DUI charge:
“Out of respect for the ongoing legal situation, I cannot comment on everything that is being reported right now,” Reese said. “But I do want to say, I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said. It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that is no excuse. I was disrespectful to the officer who was just doing his job. I have nothing but respect for the police and I’m very sorry for my behavior.”
