Girls′ Generation (SNSD) will be joining in the idol world tour boom with a world tour of its own.
On April 26, SM Entertainment announced that SNSD will be holding its 2013 Girls′ Generation World Tour Girls & Peace from June.
The Seoul concerts, which will kick off the tour, will be held from June 8-9. It will be the group′s first in Korea since its 2011 Girls′ Generation Tour.
The world tour will be the group′s first in its career.
The tour is expected to be a success, as the group previously gathered the biggest audience for a Korean group in Japanese concert history with its 200,000-member arena tour held from February to April.
Tickets for the Seoul concerts will be made available from May 9 through G Market.
