Actor Jang Geun Suk recently said some words that is drawing media attention.

At a promotional fan meeting in China titled “The World’s Prettiest Fan Meeting” for a beverage brand he is endorsing, Jang Geun Suk was asked questions around the theme of ‘Prettiest.” One of the questions he was asked was who he thinks is the prettiest and best looking star. Jang Geun Suk cleverly answered, “I am the prettiest man in Asia.” He added, “The beverage brand did a good job using me as a model.”

For the question who he thought was the prettiest actress, Jang Geuk Suk pointed to a female reporter and said, “You are pretty.”

Jang Geun Suk not only is able to charm others, but also himself. He also said at the fan meeting, drawing laughter from the crowd, “I saw the advertisement I am in in Beijing and because my shining forehead and teeth were charming, I got out of the car and kissed the advertisement.”

In related news, Jang Geun Suk is set to star in an upcoming drama titled “Pretty Man.”

Jang Keun Suk Cast in Upcoming Drama, ‘Pretty Boy’

                               

Returning to his acting roots, Jang Keun Suk has been casted in an upcoming drama.

On June 18, TreeJ Company confirmed Jang Keun Suk’s recent casting in the new drama, Pretty Boy, which is based off of a popular comic book series with the same name. Jang Keun Suk will be playing the character of Dokgo Matte, a man with a pretty face.

The story will be rewritten by writer Yoo Young Ah, who also penned the popular movie, The Gift of Room 7.

This will be Jang Keun Suk′s return to dramas after KBS’ Love Rain in 2012.

As the drama has yet to find a home in a broadcast company, it is unclear when it will air, but Group Eight is aiming for late 2013.

Jang Keun Suk to Hold Concerts in America and Europe with Team H

Jang Keun Suk will soon be taking his next big step toward becoming the true ′World Prince′.

His project group with Big Brother, Team H, will be flying to America and possibly Europe following successful shows in Japan, China, Thailand and Taiwan.

The team′s 2013 Team H Party - I Just Wanna Have Fun will next be going to L.A. and San Francisco in June.

The concerts, to be held on June 22 and June 28, will be the actor′s first official feat in America.

Many love calls from Europe have also been pouring in, heightening expectations for more concerts in the region.

Jang Keun Suk has performed in such large festivals as the UMF Korea and Summer Sonic, and his second Japanese studio album Nature Boy took over the Oricon Daily Chart on the day of its release, May 29, proving Jang Keun Suk has a successful global career ahead of him.

It hasn′t been long since Jang Keun Suk opened an account on Naver Line, but he already has hundreds of thousands of followers.

The account was opened on May 28. Through the account, Jang Keun Suk reaches out to Korea, America, Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mexico and the Philippines in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese and Cantonese.

Jang Keun Suk has released the nature-filled music video for his second studio album in Japan.

Through the Japanese video site GyaO, Jang Keun Suk released the music video for Nature Boy and Indian Summer, the double promotional tracks from his studio album Nature Boy, on May 13.Though the two songs are completely different in style, the two songs merge in one video. Nature Boy puts on a cool mood, while Indian Summer gets listeners to party along.

Jang Keun Suk will next perform with Team H in encore concerts from May 23-24 in Budokan.

Japanese fans got to spend two days with their beloved ′Keun-chan′ in Korea.
From April 21-22, Jang Keun Suk held a two-day fanmeeting titled Lotte Duty Free Jang Keun Suk in Star Avenue in Gangwon-do with 1,500 Japanese fans.

The fanmeeting was comprised of a mini-concert, a talk session and the drawing of a graph expressing the actor′s life.
During dinner he made sure to greet every table occupied by fans, welcoming them to the event.
The actor will be soon be releasing his second studio album in Japan on April 29, titled Nature Boy.
