FT Island Celebrates Its Sixth Anniversary

FT Island held a little party of its own to celebrate its sixth anniversary.

On June 7, the members of the band said through their agency, "We want to sincerely thank our fans in celebration of our sixth anniversary, and we will continue to deliver good music in the future."

The band is currently promoting in Japan for its third studio album Rated-FT, to be released on June 12. From June 15 it will launch its FT Island Arena Tour 2013 - Freedom across seven cities in the country.

To celebrate their anniversary, the members held a small party with staff during their rehearsal. The day was also a good day for Lee Hong Gi as his big screen debut film Passionate Goodbye was to premiere in Japan on the same day.

Rated-FT contains a total of 11 tracks, including the promotional single Freedom and many self-written songs by the members.

SNSD’s Jessica Celebrates Her B-Day, Shinhwa’s Eric Hits the Studio and More

F(x)’s Krystal wished her sister and SNSD member Jessica a happy birthday via Instagram on April 18, writing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my one and only dearest sister #jessicajung MWAHHHHH.”

Jessica celebrated her birthday earlier with her fellow members as revealed by a photo Taeyeon posted on her Instagram.

The day before, Krystal posted a photo on her Instagram with member Victoria, writing “few weeks back with #victoria.”

Shinhwa’s Eric was hard at work on the group’s new album, as he made an appearance on producer David Kim’s Instagram, looking beat. David Kim updated fans on the status of the album writing, “almost done #shinhwa #album #working #overtime.”

Big Bang’s Taeyang was seen kicking it with his “boys” Seungri, Daesung and G-Dragon, as seen on his Instagram on April 18.

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and G-Dragon tweeted a photo of himself with the other Big Bang members taking it all in on April 17.

Seungri also tweeted a photo, this time of all of the Big Bang members, writing “we are !!!!!”

He then posted another photo with G-Dragon with the message, “smurf? Kkkkkkkk with @IBGDRGN,”

G-Dragon tweeted another photo with T.O.P, Daesung and Taeyang on April 18, writing “Deeeeeeeeep T.O.P hyung, Daesung.”

Meanwhile, 2NE1’a CL just went on with her bad self.

FT Island’s Jong Hoon showed some love for label mate Juniel on April 17, tweeting a photo and the message “You’re going to show our Juniel love, right?”

CN Blue’s Min Hyuk also showed his support for Juniel and her upcoming single Pretty Boy Party, tweeting two collages of the members on April 17, writing “Hello, it’s Min Hyuk. We heard Juniel is having a party on the 25th, so all of the CN Blue members are preparing like this. Because we’re pretty boys…ㅋㅋ Pretty boys and those dressed like pretty boys who are nearby and want to play, hurry over to the Pretty Boy Party on the 25th. Let’s go cute men party!!!”

Teen Top’s Chunji tweeted an extra sweet selca on April 17, writing “Since I can’t go see the cherry blossoms, passed cotton candy while in the car!!! It’s been a while, tastes good.”

B2ST’s Yong Jun Hyung tweeted a photo on April 18 with the message, “Sorry for disappointing you. Had too much fun on Jeju Island..”

Jang Keun Suk tweeted a photo on April 18 with the message, “Sleep, sleep, I’m sleepy but I can’t sleep…Time is too precious…Ah…I’m a sadist.”

FNC Entertainment’s official magazine, The FNC has revealed eye-catching photos for its upcoming second issue.

On April 19, FNC Entertainment prereleased some photos from the upcoming issue of the magazine, showing the leaders of FNC Entertainment’s bands.

CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa, AOA’s Jimin, and FT Island’s Jong Hoon posed charismatically while donning military-style outfits, adding a little something more to the photos. 

It has yet to be revealed when the second issue will be released.
