CL Takes a Picture with American Artist Pharrell Williams

2NE1‘s CL shared a picture she took with American singer Pharrell Williams.

On September 11, CL uploaded a picture on her Instagram account of the two and simply wrote, “Pharrell.” In the picture Pharrell Williams has his arm around CL, and the two of them look like a hip hop couple with their big bling necklackes. CL in particular looks striking with her dark hair and thick eyeliner.

A few days before Pharrell had given CL’s label mate G-Dragon a shout by writing, “These two are amazing talents. Korean art is vast and next level. Time to collab.” He also tagged G-Dragon and artist Mina Kwon (who designed G-Dragon’s album). 

Pharrell Williams is a Grammy award winning American songwriter, singer, and fashion designer who is also the front man for the band N.E.R.D. He was also featured on the hit American song “Blurred Lines.”

Sandara Park is nothing short of praises for 2NE1’s leader CL.

On August 31, she posted a borderline sexy photo of CL along with the message, “The cute leader who gives her unnies fan service!!! She’s cute and also sexy! She’s sexy, but also has charisma… and I promise you, CL is the most perfect leader.”

The picture she chose along with the meaningful post emphasizes CL’s sexy, cute, and charismatic sides. Sandara tries to drive the point home by adding an emoticon that’s gushing and placed it right next to the leader.

Sandara Park and CL Volunteer at Holt Orphanage

Recently on August 29, 2NE1‘s CL and Sandara Park visited Holt Orphanage to volunteer. On their respective Twitter accounts on the same day, they each uploaded a photo.

Sandara Park also left a message, “I visited Holt Orphanage with Chaerin (CL). Lovely babies… I fed them and played with them. I think the babies liked me because I held them >.< Please grow up to be strong and pretty! I’m your Dara noona or aunt ㅠ Please remember me~”

On CL’s photo, she is giving a loving hug to a baby on the floor. On Sandara’s picture, she is also hugging a baby as she smiles happily.

2NE1's CL Shows Off Tan Abs While Eating Ice Cream

On August 24, 2NE1 member and solo artist CL posted photographs on her Instagram account with the captions: “somebodygavemethisicecream” and “anditmademegoCRAZZZY.”  In the photographs, CL is seen posing with big sunglasses, loosely blown-out hair, and a towering cup of ice cream.  While the ice cream did look delicious, the real attention-grabber was CL’s slim, tan abs revealed by a black crop top that was cut away at the midriff.    

In other news, on August 22, 2NE1 flew to Osaka, Japan for a summer music festival called “a-nation” held at Nagai Stadium.  SHINee are scheduled to perform in Tokyo, Japan at the Ajinomoto Stadium.  The members posted photographs documenting their time in Japan, and returned to Seoul, South Korea on August 25.

2NE1's CL And Sky Ferreira Take A Candid Photo Together

Girl group 2NE1 member CL recently shared a photo of herself and hollywood starSky Ferreira hanging out.

On July 27, CL uploaded an Instagram photo with the caption, “@itsjeremyscott #yourbabyyyz #wefinallymet @skyferreira. In the photo, CL and Sky Ferreira toss up V-signs for the camera and surprised fans at the unexpected friendship between the two stars. It appears the two stars somehow met through their mutual acquaintance, Jeremy Scott – who is an American fashion designer and has previously dressed CL as well as other 2NE1 members in his iconic pieces. 

Sky Ferreira is currently a singer, songwriter, actress and model in the United States. She has received the nickname, “Little Madonna” and is recognized as one of the up-and-coming stars in their early twenties. Her second EP, “Ghost” was released back in October 16, 2012 and has received generally positive reviews.

On July 10, 2NE1’s CL uploaded a photo on her Instagram along with the short message, “My baby sister.”

In the released picture, CL and her younger sister Harin are posing together. CL has her full stage makeup on as she hugs her sister happily, while Harin gazes at the camera with a shy smile on her face. Despite the vastly different makeup and outfits, similarities in their facial features can be seen. As they show their sisterly love for each other, CL and Harin look gorgeous in this photo.

2NE1’s CL Climbed 34 Stories to Save Sandara Park During the Earthquake in Japan

Acting like the leader she is, 2NE1’s CL risked her life to save Sandara Park during the 9.0 magnitude earthquake in Japan 

On July 2’s broadcast of SBS’ Incarnation, Sandara Park and CL appeared as guests and talked about their experience surviving through the 2011 earthquake in Japan. 

Sandara Park explained that she was on the 34th floor of the hotel she was staying in when the earthquake occurred. “Usually when I’m scared or hurt, I try to withstand it, but at the time, I felt the need to live, so I crawled on the floor, screaming for help. But it turned out that I was the only one on the floor.”

Desperate for help, Sandara Park managed to call using the hotel phone and somehow got connected with CL. 

“She said calmly, ‘Unnie, stay where you are. Don’t get in the elevators. I’ll come get you,” said Sandara Park. “I waited believing her words and CL actually came.”

CL had walked 34 flights of stairs with another person to come rescue Sandara Park. 

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, who previously experienced a 7.5 magnitude earthquake, was amazed that CL was able to stay controlled and rescue her member in such a situation. 

When asked how CL remained so calm and went search for Sandara Park, she replied, “If I die, I die, and if I had to die, I thought it would be better to die with my member. It seemed the right thing to do.”

2NE1's CL interview for Billboard

CL is once more featured in Billboard. She's now asked about being “The Baddest Female”, women empowerment and her ideal guy.

CL shared that she wants to change the stereotyped image of Asian women. She said, "I want people to know that there are girls in Asia, like me, who like hip-hop and dress differently.”

Regarding the difference of CL and Lee Chaelin, she explained, “There are always two sides to a person. I am CL and Chaelin at the same time. But ‘The Baddest Female’ represents CL more than Chaelin. In reality, my personality and lifestyle as Chaelin are completely different from CL's. But I want people to see me as CL on stage and in my music.”

Guys, read carefully. CL revealed the guy that she wants to fall for. She unveiled, ” It’s important to be with someone you can communicate with, you can build lasting memories and truthfully enjoy spending time with. Outer appearance or his finances doesn't matter to me. I earn my own money, so I don't really care [laughs].”
