EXO, B2ST, Infinite, and More to Participate in the Idol Star Athletics Championships

It′s that time of the year again, and 160 members of different idol groups will compete against each other in this year’s Idol Star Athletics Championships.

On August 30, MBC announced that Kim Je Dong and Jeon Hyun Moo will be hosting the 2013 Idol Star Athletics Championships with comedian Lee Byung Jin and announcer Heo Il Woo commentating on the futsal match. B2ST’s Lee Gi Kwang and Defconn will be interviewing the idols on the floor. 

This Chuseok’s Championship will have a total of 160 idol group members from EXO, B2ST, Infinite, 2AM, miss A, MBLAQ, ZE:A, Secret, Rainbow, BTOB, B1A4, Teen Top, Crayon Pop and more. 

For the first time ever on Idol Star Athletics Championship, idols will play a match of fustal, or indoor soccer. As many of the male idols used to or currently play soccer, the futsal match is already becoming an anticipated event. 

The filming for the Idol Star Athletics Championship will take place on September 3 at the Goyang Indoor Gymnasium. The broadcast is expected to happen during the Chuseok festivities on September 18-20.

BEAST’s Yong Jun Hyung Has the Highest Alcohol Tolerance Among Members

Recently, the members of boy group BEAST chose Yong Jun Hyung as the member with the highest alcohol tolerance level. 

On the episode of KBS’s popular talk show “Hello,” which was aired on August 26, BEAST appeared as special guests.

During the show, MC Shin Dong Yup asked, “Among all the members, who can drink the most?” Without hesitation, all the members picked Yong Jun Hyung. 

To this, MC Shin Dong Yup said jokingly, “Perhaps that is why Yong Jun Hyung has such moist gaze.” He also added, “He has the ‘knowing’ look.”

Meanwhile on this episode, Lee Ki Kwang also revealed his complex. He stated, “If I don’t control myself when I eat, I tend to gain weight very fast.”

BEAST’s Yong Jun Hyung Says He’s Not Ready to Date Anyone Yet

Yong Jun Hyung has recently made a comment about not being ready to date yet, which is creating quite a buzz.

On August 13, the BEAST members were guests on Kim Shin Young‘s radio show, where they talked about a variety of fun topics, such as BEAST‘s best-looking member and others, as they promoted their latest single, “Shadow.”

During the show, Kim Shin Young asked, “If I ask you guys out, what would be your answers?” Each member then proceeded to say his own answer to reject Kim Shin Young!

Son Dong Woon said, “I apologize,” Jang Hyun Seung said, “I can’t,” Lee Ki Kwang said, “Come on, hyung,” which is what you call an older male, and Yang Yoseob answered, “I’m sorry.”

Last but not least, Yong Jun Hyung answered, “Nuna, you are a good nuna,” which caused the other members to attack him since his answer was so nice and long compared to theirs!

Then Yong Jun Hyung continued, “I’m still not ready to date anyone yet.” Kim Shin Young replied, “It’s like watching a sad movie. I’m getting really sad.”

Yong Jun Hyung publicly dated Kara‘s Goo Hara for two years but the relationship came to an end in March of 2013.

BEAST Takes the Bus Back Home

BEAST members recently greeted their fans with their handsome faces.

Dongwoon posted a picture of the crew on his Twitter account with the message, “We’ve taken the bus.” He is seen accompanied by Junhyung and Yoseob, who smile at the camera. The photo appears to have been taken while the boys were on their way back to Seoul after wrapping up their comeback stage on MBC’s “Music Core.”

BEAST’s Yoseob and Kikwang Have an Abs Battle

On the July 25th broadcast of KBS2 “Happy Together 3,” the BEAST boys were battling over whose abs were better.

The conversation started when MCs noticed that Yoseob looked like he had lost some weight. “I’ve been boxing as a hobby so I’ve lost a lot lately,” responded Yoseob.

Following up on that comment, Dongwoon and Kikwang revealed that he used to button up all the way to stay on course of his cute image. “He doesn’t wear anything at all these days.”

They explained even further. “He used to take off his shirt starting from the arms. Now he starts from the tummy with his arms making that X.” To demonstrate, the members started taking their own shirts off one by one.

Kikwang also revealed that he even got some tan for his sexy concept, giving the MCs a first-hand look.

B2ST′s Yong Jun Hyung to Sing a Sad Solo on ′Monstar′

Though he got his love, Yong Jun Hyung will still be singing sad songs on Monstar.

On the July 26 broadcast of the drama, the characters will get tangled in the issue of first love and unrequited love.

Though he recently started off on his relationship with Sei (Ha Yeon Soo), it seems Seol Chan (Yong Jun Hyung) will still have to sing sad songs for a while.

An official with the drama said, "Sei and Seol Chan finally learned that they like each other, but they continue to feel awkward with Sun Woo (Kang Ha Neul) between them. Then Seol Chan is asked to sing I Loved a Friend′s Friend by Eun Ha (Kim Min Young).

"The song fits Seol Chan′s situation perfectly, as he actually fell in love with Sei, who was Sun Woo′s first love. His song is expected to be sad and emotional in the midst of his conflict.In the meantime, Producer Byun will make another appearance and start to stalk Seol Chan.

BEAST Releases Comeback MV “Shadow”

Finally! BEAST has released the music video for their title track, “Shadow,” from their latest album “Hard to Love, How to Love.” 

“Shadow” is a dance track composed by member Yong Jun Hyung. The music video creates a dark, eerie, and serious mood of the song despite its fast beat, with images of skulls, snakes, spiders, and a strange man covered in body paint. The members of BEAST display a cold charisma, vastly different from their previous music video for “Beautiful Night.”

The song describes the heartbreaking emotion one feels when his or her lover grows distant, and his or her desire to stay with near like a shadow.

BEAST will showcase the first performance of “Shadow” at their concert series “2013 Beautiful Show” being held July 20 and 21 at the Seoul Olympic Park Stadium. The full album comes out offline on July 22.

After hinting its comeback all week, B2ST unveiled a jacket image to go with its title track, Shadow.

On July 12, Cube Entertainment tweeted, “Revealing B2ST’s 2nd album title song Shadow and jacket photo. 

In the photo, the beastly boys are dressed in dark colors as they confidently walk away from a site of destruction.

B2ST will release its second album, Hard to Love, How to Love on July 19, followed by the 2013 Beautiful Show on July 20 and 21, where the members will showcase the new songs.

B2ST Successfully Showcases ‘I’m Sorry’ for the First Time to 10,000 B2UTIES

Gathering around about 10,000 fans, B2ST showcased its second title song, I’m Sorry to its fans for the first time.

On June 15, B2ST held its Gather Around B2UTY Party, a special event created so that fans of B2ST can hear the new song for the first time before the general public.

The event took place at Maru Park in Gangnam with a special stage constructed just for the occasion.

Singing its long string of hit songs, B2ST also performed Will You Be Alright? and I’m Sorry for the first time. 

“We were able to receive a number one with Will You Be Alright? without any promotions,” said Yang Yo Seob. “It’s all thanks to you. Thank you.”

Both Will You Be Alright? and I’m Sorry were co-produced by Yong Jun Hyung and Kim Tae Ju.

Meanwhile, B2ST will be making its comeback in July.

B2ST to Pre-Release Second Title Song ‘I’m Sorry’

Following the success of Will You Be Alright?, B2ST Will be pre-releasing another song for the fans

On June 12, Cube Entertainment tweeted the announcement about the release of B2ST’s second title song, I’m Sorry. The song will be unveiled on June 15.

I’m Sorry was produced by Yong Jun Hyung and Kim Tae Joo. The lyrics speak the honest feelings of regret after a breakup and the song includes a soft acoustic guitar melody.

B2ST will also be showcasing a special performance of the song on June 15 at Gangnam’s Maru Park for the B2UTY Gather Project, which B2St teased earlier in the month..
