G-Dragon has just released part 2 of his new solo album “Coup D’état” and the music video for the title track “Crooked.” 

“Crooked” is composed and written by Teddy and G-Dragon and is a track that is sure to get you jumping on your feet with the powerful beat and angry lyrics.

Part 1 of  has been released online September 2. Part 2 is available online starting today and the full album will be released offline September 13.

G-Dragon Tells Suzy to Buy His Song From His New Mini Album “COUP D`ETAT”

Big Bang‘s G-Dragon had a short answer for miss A‘s Suzy when she complimented one of the tracks on his new mini album, “Coup D-Etat.”

On September 3 Suzy wrote on her Twitter, “Black. The song is good. Black, black.” Suzy was referring to one of the tracks on G-Dragon’s new mini album.

G-Dragon replied back on Twitter with a short and curt message: “Then go buy it.” Perhaps he felt that his reply was too brusque because he deleted his tweet not too long after. 

Netizens who caught the tweet before it was deleted remarked that “G-Dragon is a cool guy, “The two must know each other,” and “I wonder how Suzy would have responded.”

Recently, G-Dragon gave a performance on “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” and will release a new album on September 13 with remix versions of “Window” and “Black.” Suzy was seen filming for the Idol Olympics.

The album is full of collaborations with internationally-renowned artists such asMissy Elliott and DJ Diplo.  Following his first solo full-length album “Heartbreaker” in 2009 and the 2012 mini-album “One of a Kind,” fans are wondering what the next chapter of G-Dragon’s musical evolution will be like.

All Big Bang Members to Join G-Dragon at “One of a Kind’ Finale Concert

A local news agency is reporting that Seungri, Taeyang, T.O.P, and Daesungwill be joining teammate G-Dragon on stage during his “One of a Kind The Final” concert to show their support.

G-Dragon will be holding the final leg of his “One of a Kind” concert tour in Seoul for two days, August 31 and September 1, at the Olympic Park Gymnastic Stadium. A source from the industry said, “Big Bang is currently debating which day, August 31 or September 1, to go on stage. But it is certain that there will be a Big Bang stage during G-Dragon’s concert.”

G-Dragon is also planning to perform for his new solo album “Coup d’état” at this concert. The album comes out September 2.

G-Dragon Releases First Teaser Pic for “Coup D’Etat”

Big Bang member and solo artist G-Dragon has released his first teaser pic for his upcoming second full-length album “Coup D’Etat.” 

On August 26, G-Dragon retweeted a tweet from YG Family releasing his first teaser pic with the caption: “[G-DRAGON – ‘COUP D’ETAT’ TEASER PIC #1] originally posted by http://yg-life.com.”  In the teaser pic, G-Dragon’s face is hidden by a black ski mask and only his eyes gazing steadily at the viewer can be seen.  Across the bottom half of the pic are the words: “COMING VERY SOON.  G-DRAGON. COUP D’ETAT.”

G-Dragon Meets Missy Elliott at KCON 2013

On August 24, Big Bang member and solo artist G-Dragon uploaded a photograph onto his Instagram account with the caption: “FINALLY #missybaby #gdragonbaby #LA.”  In the photograph, G-Dragon poses with his arm around Grammy Award-winner and hip hop/R&B legend Missy Elliott. 

G-Dragon flew to Los Angeles on August 23 ahead of his performance on “M COUNTDOWN What’s Up LA” at KCON 2013.  “M COUNTDOWN What’s up LA” will feature artists such as G-Dragon, EXO, 2AM, Teen Top, and f(x), and it will be the music chart’s first time visiting the U.S.  The show was brought to the U.S. as part of KCON 2013 which is the largest Korean pop culture convention in North America.  KCON 2013 will be held from August 24-25, 2013 at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena.

G-Dragon Flies in Style to Los Angeles for KCON 2013

On August 23, Big Bang and solo artist G-Dragon was spotted at the Incheon International Airport outside of Seoul, South Korea.  G-Dragon will be taking a flight to Los Angeles for MNET program “M COUNTDOWN What’s up LA” which will be a live show held on Sunday, August 25. 

The fashionista was dressed in a black ensemble topped by a loose green plaid button down.  Though dressed comfortably and practically for a long flight, G-Dragon kept his look stylish with matching accessories, even his earphones were coordinated in green.

Big Bang’s Seungri Release “Gotta Talk To U” MV

On August 19, Big Bang’s maknae Seungri shows that he’s no longer a baby with his latest music video release. Titled “Gotta Talk To U,” it’s the title track for his second mini album “Let’s Talk About Love.”

It’s a moderately fast tempo house track and the director behind Big Bang’s hits “Blue,” “Bad Boy,” and “Monster” is also in charge of this music video.

Big Bang’s T.O.P in Talks to Lead Movie “Tazza 2″

Big Bang member T.O.P  is in talks to star in another movie!

YG Entertainment has came out to state that the idol-actor is positively reviewing the lead role, but it has yet to be confirmed. If it is, T.O.P will be starring in “Tazza 2,” the sequel to the 2006 hit movie “Tazza.” The first was directed by Choi Dong Hoon and starred Jo Seung Woo, Kim Hye soo, Baek Yoon Sik, and Yoo Hae Jin.

The sequel will be directed by another hit maker director Kang Hyung Chul, who lead “Speedy Scandal” and “Sunny.” It will portray the second volume- “The Hand of God“- of the original manga the first movie was based on, also called “Tazza” and written by Heo Young Man. If T.O.P confirms, he will play the lead role of Hahm Dae Gil, the nephew of the lead character in the first movie.

Currently, T.O.P has finished filming another movie “The Alumni,” which is looking toward a premiere before the end of the year.

Big Bang’s Seungri Unveils Teaser and Tracklist

Counting down on his own Twitter, Big Bang’s Seungri unveiled a teaser photo and tracklist for his upcoming new album.

On August 12, YG Entertainment updated its official blog with Seungri’s new image as well as the tracklist for his second mini album Let’s Talk About Love. 

The album will include a total of six tracks, including one bonus track with the actual album. All the songs were co-produced by Seungri. 

The intro song titled Let’s Talk about Love includes G-Dragon and Taeyang’s names, as the Big Bang members helped out their maknae by featuring and participating in the writing of the lyrics. 

Also noticeable on the track list is GG BE, which features Jennie Kim of YG′s upcoming new girl group. 

The newly released information also shared that the online release will take place on August 19, while the album release will be on August 21.

Big Bang′s Taeyang Performs with M-Flo and More at ′A-Nation′

His performance with the Japanese team took place at the A-Nation Island Verbal Presents OTO_MATSURI 2013 X M-Flo Tour "Neven" Special Final, held on August 11.

Taeyang sang his hits Super Star, Break Down, Look Only At Me, Wedding Dress and I Need a Girl this day.

He also participated in a performance of M-Flo′s Miss You with female singer Melody. Once Taeyang made his surprise appearance onstage for the performance, the audience shouted out in surprise and happiness.

CREAM, Matt Cab, Miliyah Kato, MINMI, J Soul Brothers and Yoshika also performed this day in the show produced by M-Flo′s Verbal.

Taeyang is currently busy preparing for his first solo album in three years, and near the end of the year will tour six domes in Japan with Big Bang.

G-Dragon Accused of Putting on Blackface in Tribute to Trayvon Martin

Big Bang‘s G-Dragon is making the news in Western news sources, but not because of his concerts or his music. The popular K-Pop rapper has caused controversy with an Instagram photo that may not have been very well thought out.

The picture in question was shared through his official Instagram account on July 30. In it, he wears a gray T-shirt over his head and has his face painted black. Along with the picture comes the simple caption, “X.”

G-Dragon has been known to post unusual photos before, but this one came in bad timing. Online news sources pointed out that the picture looks similar to the trend of American artists paying tribute to slain American youth Trayvon Martin by wearing a hoodie. With the black paint on G-Dragon’s face, the picture comes off as a distasteful homage to Trayvon Martin.

Trayvon Martin was a Florida teenager who was gunned down by George Zimmerman, a member of the neighborhood watch. Zimmerman claimed that he shot the teenager out of self-defense and was acquitted of all charges in a highly controversial trial last month. 

After the controversy was picked up by major news sources such as SPIN Magazine, LA Times, and the Guardian, a representative for G-Dragon emailed SPIN and explained that it was “a HUGE misunderstanding… The face paint is only a color variation for his album cover which includes black, white, and red. It is in no way meant to be a political or racial statement… It’s being derived by a simple photo shoot where GD was using different face paint colors for his upcoming album.”

The picture is still up on G-Dragon’s Instagram and has 104,000 likes and many messages of support for the rapper from his fans.

Big Bang's G-Dragon Grows a Beard

G-Dragon posted a picture of his new beard on his Twitter on July 29, with the words, “ 12 o’clock done.” He is presumably sitting at his car after having finished his work for the day.

He can be seen wearing a red snapback and shades, looking like a mischievous adolescent boy. Reflected on his shades was his tattooed arm, holding his phone.With a new patch of hair on his chin however, there was something more mature about his look.

Netizens responded with growing curiosity. “Are you in the middle of a transformation,” “Daebak,” “Is the look related to his new solo album concept?”

In the meantime, G-Dragon was caught spending multiple overnights at the YG studio working on his project.

Big Bang’s Seungri to Make an Album Comeback

After working hard in Japan, Big Bang’s Seungri’s finally returning to Korea to make his second album comeback. 

On July 29, Yang Hyun Seok updated the YG Blog with news about Seungri and his upcoming album. 

The second mini will consist of six tracks, all produced and written by Seungri, The title song of the album will be I Have Something to Say. 

The music video will be directed by Han Sa Min, who also led Big Bang’s Blue, Bad Boy and Monster. 

The album will be released on August 19 and Seungri will promote it until the end of September, before returning to Japan to release his solo album there on September 25. 

G-Dragon and Taeyang are also preparing for their solo album releases as well.

Taeyang Gets a New Bundle of Joy Named Homie

Big Bang member and solo artist Taeyang uploaded photographs onto his Instagram account of his new bundle of joy.  Get ready to melt from the cuteness overload.   

Taeyang posted that the puppy’s name is Homie and he is a Bulldog.  The puppy is pure white and has the most adorable face.  While most of the photographs are of Homie, one of the photographs shows Taeyang holding Homie and looking tenderly at him.       

Earlier this summer, Taeyang’s beloved dog Boss, a Boston Terrier, passed away due to health problems.  Taeyang tweeted the sad news to his fans, and many fans sympathized with the pain he felt over losing his long-time companion.  Upon seeing the photographs, fans showed their joy for Taeyang and love for the cute puppy.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon and Soo Joo Pictorial for Vogue Korea

Extremely hard to tell apart, Big Bang’s G-Dragon and model Soo Joo took over the photoshoot with their dazzling looks.

On July 18, fashion magazine, Vogue Korea released a short black and white video featuring scenes from the photoshoot involving both stars.

They both sported long platinum blond hair with smokey eye makeup, making them appear like twins. 

The pictorial from this shoot will be included in Vogue Korea’s 17th anniversary issue.

While Seungri might not be making a comeback, Big Bang’s Taeyang is and it’s going to be amazing.

On July 15, YG Entertainment updated its blog with more news about the upcoming comeback of artists. 

Concerning Taeyang’s second album, Yang Hyung Suk stated that the entire album will be produced by Taeyang for the first time. 

Hoping that the difficulty of self-producing an album will do him good in the long run, Taeyang is said to have traveled back and forth from Korea to USA to work with world-renowned songwriters. 

The track list of 10 songs has been completed but the album won’t be released until September

Big Bang's Taeyang to release 2nd album in September

It's going to be a back-to-back album release with Big Bang's G-Dragon and Taeyang.

YG has announced that G-Dragon is going to release his 2nd album on August 18 in line with the celebration of his 25th birthday. They've also confirmed that he'll be working with international performer and producer Missy Elliot.

Aside from this, they also release the expected date for Taeyang's 2nd album. They revealed that they are planning to release it in the beginning of September. This is the first one in 3 years after he released his first solo album in 2010.
