Infinite Reveals US Concert Locations for First World Tour “One Great Step”

Four US locations for Infinite‘s First World Tour “One Great Step” were revealed today by event promoted Powerhouse Live. Set for November, they will spend more than a week in the US.

Los Angeles (CA): Friday, November 8, at Nokia Theatre LA Live
San Jose (CA): Monday November 11, at the Event Center in San Jose State University
Fairfax (VA): Wednesday, November 13 at Patriot Center in George Mason University
New York(NY): Saturday, November 16 at Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom

Infinite started out their first world tour “One Great Step” August 9 in Seoul at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena. The tour is set to cover as many as 17 stops in cities all around the world.

EXO’s Tao, INFINITE’s Sungyeol and Woohyun, and Others Injured at Idol Athletic Championships

Many popular idol groups gathered together for friendly sport competition for the “2013 Idol Athletic Championships”. Unfortunately, like most sporting events, there were a few injuries as the idols participated in the various athletic activities. However, out of the 160 idols who ran, jumped, and shot arrows, only a few were injured.

The list of idols and their minor injuries include EXO‘s Tao who hurt his back,Infinite‘s Sungyeol who hurt his neck and Woohyun who hurt his jaw, VIXX‘s Leo who hurt his ankle, and A Pink‘s Oh Ha Young who injured her arm. Luckily, these injuries were not serious. 

“2013 Idol Athletic Championships” will air for the Korean Thanksgiving holiday.

Over 160 Idols Including EXO, BEAST, Infinite, miss A, Participate in the 2013 Idol Athletic Championships

It’s that special time of year where hundreds of K-Pop’s hottest idol stars gather together in one big arena to display their athleticism, sportsmanship and hot-blooded young energy!

On September 3, top idol groups such as EXO, BEAST, A Pink, Infinite and ZE:Agathered together to film the “2013 Idol Athletic Championships,” which featured sports such as track and field, archery and mini-soccer.

Hosted by Jeon Hyun Moo, Kim Jae Dong, Defconn and Lee Ki Kwang, the seventh annual Idol Athletic Championships revealed the many different athletic skills that our favorite idols possess.

Around 160 idols participated in this year’s championships including groups likeSuper Junior-M, BEAST, Infinite, MBLAQ, ZE:A, Secret, B.A.P, BTOB, VIXX, Rainbow, Girl’s Day, A Pink, Dal Shabet, Teen Top, Tasty, B1A4, EXO, U-KISS, Crayon Pop, 2AM, miss A, A-JAX, 100% and more.

Idols were divided into four teams for the mini-soccer games. Team A consists of 2AM’s Seulong and Changmin; B1A4′s Jinyoung, Baro and Gongchan;100%’s Sanghoon; A-JAX’s Seung Yup and Goo Ja Myung. Team B consists of EXO’s Luhan, Xiumin, Suho and Baekhyun; Infinite’s Hoya and Woohyun; Tasty’s Soryong; and Shorry J. Team C consists of ZE:A’s Kim Dong Jun, Ha Min Woo, and Kim Tae Heon; U-KISS’ Soohyun and Kiseop; VIXX’s N and Leo, and Son Jin Young. Team D consists of BEAST’s Yoon Doo Joon, Lee Ki Kwang and Yang Yo Seob; BTOB’s Eunkwang; B.A.P’s Bang Yong Guk, Young Jae and Zelo; and Roh Ji Hoon.

At the same time, archery and track competitions were held as well.

Although some idols weren’t able to make it, such as U-KISS’ Dongho, some of the currently busiest idols such as Suzy, Park Hyung Shik, Jung Eun Ji and L attended the event.

Suzy even stood as the representative idol member along with ZE:A’s Kim Dong Jun and read the competition oath in front of her peers. She went on to compete in the archery games as well.

EXO, B2ST, Infinite, and More to Participate in the Idol Star Athletics Championships

It′s that time of the year again, and 160 members of different idol groups will compete against each other in this year’s Idol Star Athletics Championships.

On August 30, MBC announced that Kim Je Dong and Jeon Hyun Moo will be hosting the 2013 Idol Star Athletics Championships with comedian Lee Byung Jin and announcer Heo Il Woo commentating on the futsal match. B2ST’s Lee Gi Kwang and Defconn will be interviewing the idols on the floor. 

This Chuseok’s Championship will have a total of 160 idol group members from EXO, B2ST, Infinite, 2AM, miss A, MBLAQ, ZE:A, Secret, Rainbow, BTOB, B1A4, Teen Top, Crayon Pop and more. 

For the first time ever on Idol Star Athletics Championship, idols will play a match of fustal, or indoor soccer. As many of the male idols used to or currently play soccer, the futsal match is already becoming an anticipated event. 

The filming for the Idol Star Athletics Championship will take place on September 3 at the Goyang Indoor Gymnasium. The broadcast is expected to happen during the Chuseok festivities on September 18-20.

Infinite′s L Becomes a Swan Prince

Infinite′s L became a prince with shining skin, appealing to girls for a makeup brand.

L was chosen as the muse of cosmetics brand Shara Shara, and recently attended a photo shoot for the brand.

Photos from the shoot were released on August 29.

Kim Ok Yeop, deputy head of Shara Shara′s marketing team, said, "L has an image of a romantic and sensitive man, like the figures of romance comics. We expect him to be a model that will be like a boyfriend to the feminine Shara Shara."

An official who was at the shoot, which took place on August 27, also said, "He dominated on set with his looks and perfect skin. He was charismatic and mysterious, and at the same time was manly and lovely like a little brother."

Shara Shara is a brand launched in 2011 and has showcased over 600 items for women who want younger skin.

Tasty will be attending the SMTOWN Beijing concert in October

On August 19, a certain news agency reported that Infinite would be joining the line-up for an SM concert. However, SM C&C sources commented, “Infinite won’t be able to join the SM concert due to their world tour.”

The source continued, “Tasty will be attending the SMTOWN Beijing concert in October,” marking the first Woollim appearance in an SM event after the merge. However, Nell and Infinite will not be performing at the concert.

Previously, the public was put through a shock to hear the news of Woollim Entertainment merging with SM’s SM C&C to form Woollim Label on August 9. After many voiced their concerns over the Woollim artists’ futures, the agency assured that the artists’ music won’t change.

Infinite’s schedule after they return from their world tour is not yet decided and the public is yet to see Woollim’s top group perform on one stage with DBSK, Girls’ Generation and other SM artists.

Woollim Entertainment Merges with SM Entertainment’s SM C&C To Form “Woollim Label”

SM C&C and Woollim Entertainment, the latter home to Infinite, Nell, and Tasty, will be merging to form a new label-”Woollim Label.”

SM C&C is a subsidary of SM Entertainment, and by merging with Woollim Ent., will be forming the independent label “Woollim Label.”

SM Entertainment will be in charge of the global distribution of the music and other businesses of artists’ under “Woollim Label,” while SM C&C will be in charge of the label’s functions.

With this move, SM Entertainment is on its way to become a major global music company in the likes of Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, and Sony Music Entertainment.

Infinite’s L is Not Satisfied with his Looks

On July 23, Infinite appeared as guests on SBS Power FM’s Choi Hwa Jung’s power Time. 

Seeing L’s pretty face, Choi Hwa Jung remarked that she really likes L’s smile and that she feels like she could faint. 

Following her compliments, she asked the Infinite member if he was happy with the way he looked. 

To everyone’s surprise, L answered, “No, I’m not satisfied.”

He added, “I wish my face had more personality. I’m not satisfied with it.”

Of course, the other Infinite members only groaned at L’s comments as Choi Hwa Jung continued to compliment L’s charming looks

INFINITE’s Hoya Bought His Parents a House for Parents’ Day

The members of INFINITE appeared as special guests on the most recent filming of KBS’s “Mamma Mia.” During the show, the members surprised everyone by revealing the gifts they gave to their parents.

Hoya stated, “I bought them a house for Parents’ Day.” When the astonished emcees asked the members how much allowance they give to their parents, Sung Yeol answered, “I gave them a credit card,” while Sung Gyu stated, “I give them 150,000 Won (approximately 1300 USD) every month.”   

This episode of “Mamma Mia” will be aired on June 16 at 5pm (KST).

Meanwhile, INFINITE, who had great success with its latest mini-album “New Challenge,” recently announced at a press conference that the group will be having a world tour this year.

Girls’ Generation Seohyun Reveals Picture Showing Her ’91 Friends!

Wow they certainly look friendly! Girls’ Generation Seohyun recently posted a picture of herself with her ’91 line friends. (Celebrities who were also born in 1991)

Seohyun wrote on her official homepage June 12, “Seo Chin So!
