SNSD’s Hyoyeon Wants to Do a Couple Dance with EXO’s Kai

Just like Kara’s Nicole , Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon showed her interested in EXO’s Kai. 

On September 11’s broadcast of MBC FM4U’s Midday’s Hopeful Song, Hyoyeon talked about wanting to do a couple dance with Kai. 

When asked which male idol she would like do a couple dance with, Hyoyeon asked without hesitation, “EXO’s Kai.”

DJ Kim Shin Young added, “Even during Invincible Youth, you mentioned Kai. I was watching EXO’s stage, and he really does dance well.” 

“I’ve been saying it even before EXO’s debut. Kai dances so well,” said Hyoyeon, praising her SM junior.

EXO Luhan’s Adorable Baby Pictures to Be Revealed

Currently at the top of his game, EXO’s Luhan will be revealing adorable childhood photos of himself. 

On September 10, Luhan and his EXO members will appear on Mnet’s Wide Entertainment News’ segment, ‘The Music-Interview,’ where the members will talk about their childhood and how they became scouted to SM Entertainment.

“I went to Myungdong with my friends in 2008 when I got scouted,” said Luhan. “I was there to study Korean. I decided I should learn Korean before I became a singer.”

He added, “The man that I met didn’t give me a business card but only a number, so I thought he was a conman.”

In addition to his story, Luhan also unveiled photos of when he was seven-years old. With his round eyes and handsome looks, Luhan proved that he was a flower boy since the beginning. 

Meanwhile, the EXO members will talk about how it was to rise to the top of the charts. Kris, Xiumin, Chen, and more will also reveal their childhood photos as well.

EXO Captures Malaysia at the ‘MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia′

On September 8, EXO participated in the 2013 World Stage Live in Malaysia, which took place at the Sunway Lagoon Beach. The group performed Wolf, Grow, 3.6.5, and History, making 15,000 people in the audience roar in excitement. 

The MTV World Stage Live, which began in 2009, is a global music festival with many artists from over the world. The festival is broadcasted through MTV to Korea, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, and more. 

On this day, aside from EXO, other performing artists included Robin Thicke, Far East Movement, Joe Flizzow, and more. 

Meanwhile, EXO received a triple crown with Growl on Mnet’s M COUNTDOWN, MBC’s Music Core, and SBS’ Inkigayo.

EXO to Wrap up “Growl” Promotions

After a successful run of their hit song “Growl,” EXO will wrap up promotions for the song this week.

The successful promotion of “Growl” seems well deserved after EXO took an unusually long hiatus from their first mini album to release their first full album. ”Growl” is the main track from the group’s first album, “XOXO.” The combined sales of the album and its repackaged reached 740 thousand, a first for K-Pop artists since 2001. 

The song hit the top of the music charts and won the coveted triple crown on both “Inkigayo” and “M!Countdown.” The song also won first place on “Music Core” and “Music Bank.” Now the group will perform the song for the last time on those shows.

A representative of SM Entertainment said, “We have special shows lined up in our schedule so you will continue to see EXO’s faces. We have not set a date for an official comeback yet.”

EXO’s Tao Uses miss A’s JiA’s Cat as His Weibo Profile Photo

EXO‘s Tao is currently under the spotlight for his Weibo profile picture.

Many netizens have noticed that Tao’s Weibo profile picture is a photo of miss A Jia‘s cat.

In Tao’s profile picture, a cat is laying on top of a yellow carpet and netizens have figured out that is in fact, Jia’s cat. Netizens have also figured out that the yellow carpet has been seen on Jia’s SNS account in the past.

These connections have left netizens pondering about Tao and JiA’s relationship.

On September 5, JYP Entertainment sources spoke with OSEN and said, “Tao is known to like cats so it seemslike JiA has sent him a photo of her cat to show off.”SM sources also said, “Tao saw the picture and put it up with innocent intentions because the cat is cute.”

Both agencies mentioned that both idol stars related a lot to each other as Chinese members of a K-Pop idol group. However, both agencies firmly emphasized that they are nothing more than friends and that they are also close with other non-Korean members such as f(x)‘s Amber.

Meanwhile, Tao is appearing on the MBC sports variety show, “Star Diving Show Splash.”

EXO’s Tao, INFINITE’s Sungyeol and Woohyun, and Others Injured at Idol Athletic Championships

Many popular idol groups gathered together for friendly sport competition for the “2013 Idol Athletic Championships”. Unfortunately, like most sporting events, there were a few injuries as the idols participated in the various athletic activities. However, out of the 160 idols who ran, jumped, and shot arrows, only a few were injured.

The list of idols and their minor injuries include EXO‘s Tao who hurt his back,Infinite‘s Sungyeol who hurt his neck and Woohyun who hurt his jaw, VIXX‘s Leo who hurt his ankle, and A Pink‘s Oh Ha Young who injured her arm. Luckily, these injuries were not serious. 

“2013 Idol Athletic Championships” will air for the Korean Thanksgiving holiday.

No Min Woo Reveals that He Almost Went Blind Before

The multi-talented actor and singer No Min Woo has revealed on a recent recording of KBS2TV‘s “Global Request Show- A Song For You” that he almost went blind during a previous drama recording

KBS2TV’s “Global Request Show – A Song For You” is a new music request show featuring 2AM’s Jo Kwon as the MC. People from all over the world post their story and song request on the official Facebook page. These requests are then selected and a different celebrity appears every week to read out the stories and personally sing the song that has been requested. The guests for the first two episodes were boy group EXO and recently the program revealed that the guest for this week’s episode will be none other than the multi talented No Min Woo.

For this week’s episode, one of the stories that will be covered is about a girl from Finland that continues to live a bright and happy life despite disabilities in her hands. The story is said to have touched the heart of No Min Woo and the rest of the crew at the recording.

No Min Woo, touched by the story, revealed that he nearly lost his eye sight after injuring his eyes during a previous drama recording. He talked about the wave of emotions he felt back then and how he worried about not being able to play the guitar because he couldn’t see. He even revealed that because of this thought, he purposely begin to practice playing the guitar in total darkness to prepare for the unexpected. No Min Woo mentioned his own story because he respected the Finnish girl’s positivity and high spirits, even going as far to say that he wished to make a song for her.

Over 160 Idols Including EXO, BEAST, Infinite, miss A, Participate in the 2013 Idol Athletic Championships

It’s that special time of year where hundreds of K-Pop’s hottest idol stars gather together in one big arena to display their athleticism, sportsmanship and hot-blooded young energy!

On September 3, top idol groups such as EXO, BEAST, A Pink, Infinite and ZE:Agathered together to film the “2013 Idol Athletic Championships,” which featured sports such as track and field, archery and mini-soccer.

Hosted by Jeon Hyun Moo, Kim Jae Dong, Defconn and Lee Ki Kwang, the seventh annual Idol Athletic Championships revealed the many different athletic skills that our favorite idols possess.

Around 160 idols participated in this year’s championships including groups likeSuper Junior-M, BEAST, Infinite, MBLAQ, ZE:A, Secret, B.A.P, BTOB, VIXX, Rainbow, Girl’s Day, A Pink, Dal Shabet, Teen Top, Tasty, B1A4, EXO, U-KISS, Crayon Pop, 2AM, miss A, A-JAX, 100% and more.

Idols were divided into four teams for the mini-soccer games. Team A consists of 2AM’s Seulong and Changmin; B1A4′s Jinyoung, Baro and Gongchan;100%’s Sanghoon; A-JAX’s Seung Yup and Goo Ja Myung. Team B consists of EXO’s Luhan, Xiumin, Suho and Baekhyun; Infinite’s Hoya and Woohyun; Tasty’s Soryong; and Shorry J. Team C consists of ZE:A’s Kim Dong Jun, Ha Min Woo, and Kim Tae Heon; U-KISS’ Soohyun and Kiseop; VIXX’s N and Leo, and Son Jin Young. Team D consists of BEAST’s Yoon Doo Joon, Lee Ki Kwang and Yang Yo Seob; BTOB’s Eunkwang; B.A.P’s Bang Yong Guk, Young Jae and Zelo; and Roh Ji Hoon.

At the same time, archery and track competitions were held as well.

Although some idols weren’t able to make it, such as U-KISS’ Dongho, some of the currently busiest idols such as Suzy, Park Hyung Shik, Jung Eun Ji and L attended the event.

Suzy even stood as the representative idol member along with ZE:A’s Kim Dong Jun and read the competition oath in front of her peers. She went on to compete in the archery games as well.

EXO Releases Drama Version Music Videos for “Growl”

EXO released the second episode in their music video drama series. The Korean and Chinese version drama music videos were released through the official SMTOWN YouTube channel.

The episode two continues the story where it left off from the drama version of “wolf” when special transfer student Luhan reveals to his friends that he may not be quite normal. Like the first drama version, the members of EXO show their acting and fighting skills as they take on the rival gang again. The ending with member Kris making an appearance hints that there will be an episode three to EXO’s supernatural high school gangster drama.

Kara’s Nicole Has Her Eyes on EXO’s Kai

With many fans agreeing, Kara’s Nicole says EXO’s Kai is pretty handsome.

In a recent recording of KBS’ Hello, Kara came as guests after a long hiatus on Korean variety programs. 

During the filming, MC Shin Dong Yeop asked Nicole if there were any male idol group members that have particularly stuck out for her. 

With much hesitation, Nicole slowly shared, “I think lately, EXO’s Kai is the most handsome.”

Kang Ji Young also shared that she wishes she could have Goo Hara’s body, Han Seung Yeon’s small face, Nicole’s firm muscles, and Park Gyuri’s confidence.

EXO, B2ST, Infinite, and More to Participate in the Idol Star Athletics Championships

It′s that time of the year again, and 160 members of different idol groups will compete against each other in this year’s Idol Star Athletics Championships.

On August 30, MBC announced that Kim Je Dong and Jeon Hyun Moo will be hosting the 2013 Idol Star Athletics Championships with comedian Lee Byung Jin and announcer Heo Il Woo commentating on the futsal match. B2ST’s Lee Gi Kwang and Defconn will be interviewing the idols on the floor. 

This Chuseok’s Championship will have a total of 160 idol group members from EXO, B2ST, Infinite, 2AM, miss A, MBLAQ, ZE:A, Secret, Rainbow, BTOB, B1A4, Teen Top, Crayon Pop and more. 

For the first time ever on Idol Star Athletics Championship, idols will play a match of fustal, or indoor soccer. As many of the male idols used to or currently play soccer, the futsal match is already becoming an anticipated event. 

The filming for the Idol Star Athletics Championship will take place on September 3 at the Goyang Indoor Gymnasium. The broadcast is expected to happen during the Chuseok festivities on September 18-20.

Taeyeon and EXO Become the New Faces of “Nature Republic”

Henry Sings Acoustic Version of “1-4-3 (I Love You)” with EXO’s Chanyeol on Guitar

After impressing fans with his first solo track, “Trap,” Henry will be moving onto his next round of promotions with his self-written “1-4-3 (I Love You).”

Henry will be releasing “1-4-3 (I Love You)” as a new digital single on August 23, but a week earlier has unveiled the acoustic version of the track featuring EXO‘s Chanyeol. 

The original version of “1-4-3 (I Love You)” is an electro-pop song that is produced by Henry and NoizeBank. The song is about a man with poor Korean skills confessing his feelings for a woman and the culture difference that is felt between the two.

The digital single to be released August 23 features f(x)‘s Amber, which further raises anticipation levels among fans.

The newly packaged “1-4-3 (I Love You)” will drop on August 23 on various music portals.

Missy Elliott to Perform at KCON 2013′s M!Countdown: What’s Up LA! Concert

KCON just announced that rapper Missy Elliott will be performing at the first U.S. recording of MNET’s M!Countdown on August 25 during KCON 2013! 

Missy Elliott will be joining the star-studded KCON lineup, including G-Dragon,EXO, f(x), Teen Top, 2AM, Dynamic Duo, Super Junior M‘s Henry, and Yoo Seung Woo. 

Back in June, G-Dragon revealed that his second solo album, due out on August 18th, will feature the Grammy-winning rapper. Although specific stages for the two have not been revealed, we are definitely looking out for a joint performance between the two artists!

KCON 2013 will be held at Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena on August 24 – 25. Ticket prices range from $60 to $300, and can be found at www.kconusa.com.

SHINee, EXO-K & Dal Shabet Go to Philippines for K-Pop Republic Concert

Ready to say hello to all the fans in the Philippines, SHINee, EXO-K, and Dal Shabet have been confirmed for the K-Pop Republic Concert.

The concert, which will take place on September 7 at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila, is the second concert K-Pop concert hosted by JU Entertainment, who successful put on the Dream K-Pop Fantasy Concert back in January. 

This will mark Dal Shabet’s first official visit to the country. EXO-K previously participated in the Dream K-Pop Fantasy Concert.

EXO Members Don’t Feel Awkward with Each Other

Practically brothers at this point, the EXO members revealed that none of them feel awkward with each other.

On August 13, EXO came as guests on SBS Power FM’s Park So Hyun’s Love Game, where the members were asked to play the O/X game. 

One of the questions included, “Is there a member you’re awkward with?”

At the same time, all of the members raised their arms in their air to create an X. 

DJ Park So Hyun jokingly pinpointed Kris, saying he made an O.

EXO Soaks in Girl Group Dances on Weekly Idol

Chasing away their charismatic and manly wolf images away, the EXO members showed a completely new side to them by dancing to girl group songs.

In an upcoming episode of MBC Every1’s Weekly Idol, EXO returned to the white set to show off its humorous side once more. 

Ready to let go of everything and let their personalities shine, the EXO members got to the dance floor and began to flaunt off their girl group dances. 

From Girls’ Day to A Pink to SISTAR and more, the EXO members perfectly pulled off each dance, impressing the two MCs. Jung Hyung Don pondered how they knew all the dances and complimented that they were all very good.
