SNSD’s Hyoyeon Wants to Do a Couple Dance with EXO’s Kai

Just like Kara’s Nicole , Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon showed her interested in EXO’s Kai. 

On September 11’s broadcast of MBC FM4U’s Midday’s Hopeful Song, Hyoyeon talked about wanting to do a couple dance with Kai. 

When asked which male idol she would like do a couple dance with, Hyoyeon asked without hesitation, “EXO’s Kai.”

DJ Kim Shin Young added, “Even during Invincible Youth, you mentioned Kai. I was watching EXO’s stage, and he really does dance well.” 

“I’ve been saying it even before EXO’s debut. Kai dances so well,” said Hyoyeon, praising her SM junior.

SNSD′s Hyoyeon Gets Popping on ′Dancing 9′

Hyoyeon showed just why she′s Girls′ Generation (SNSD)′s dancing queen on Dancing 9.

On July 29, Mnet′s Dancing 9 released a short clip from its recent episode showing Hyoyeon popping.

In the video, Hyoyeon stands onstage with two contestants, and as soon as the music plays, she starts popping and showing off her waves.

The video was also uploaded on YouTube, gathering attention from fans around the world.

Dancing 9 is Korea′s first dance survival show, and pitches the Red Wings team against the Blue Eyes team.

The winning team will be given 400 million won, and the MVP member will be given a wish list with a 100 million won limit.

Lee Min Woo, Yuri, and Hyoyeon to Join “Dancing 9″ as Dance Masters

Shinhwa‘s Lee Min Woo and Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon and Yuri will join the dancing survival show “Dancing 9” as dance masters. 

A representative of “Dancing 9″ said, “Lee Min Woo, Hyoyeon, and Yuri will appear on the show as K-Pop dance masters…With experience in domestic and international stage experience, they will be a great help to the ‘Dancing 9′ candidates.” 

The three will join dance sport professional Park Ji Woo, B-boy Ducky (Kim Duk Hyun), entertainer Poppin J to complete the cast for “Dancing 9.” These dance masters will divide into groups and offer coaching to the contestants.

Lee Min Woo shared about his excitement for the program. “In my fifteen years in Shinhwa I have sensed that dance goes beyond language, age, and gender…as someone who loved dancing even before becoming a singer, I am excited to meet many people who will take on the dance challenges.”

Hyoyeon and Yuri were also excited to work with the contestants on the show. “We want to share our knowledge on passion, talent, stage presence, and teamwork to the contestants.”

“Dancing 9” is the ultimate global dance survival program. Dancers from all over the world will be flown to Korean to participate. The competition will ultimately pare down the number of aspiring dancers to 18, splitting them into two teams of nine, and then choosing one team as the winner.  The winning team will receive $500,000 in value rewards, and the MVP member of the team will receive the fulfillment of a wish – such as tuition to a dance school.

Jaden Smith Attends Event With Girls’ Generation and Jay Park

On May 8, selected celebrities were invited to the launching event of “MSFTSREP X GENARALIDEA Collaboration” at General Idea in Sinsa-dong, which is in the posh district of Gangnam. It’s a partnership between designer Choi Bum Suk from General Idea and Jaden Smith’s street fashion brand MSFTSREP.
