After School′s Jung Ah Says She′s Still Close with SHINee′s Onew

After School′s Jung A revealed that despite the love rumors, she′s still close with SHINee′s Onew.

The members of After School spoke at the press roundtable and showcase for their sixth single album First Love, held on June 13.

She said about her relationship with Onew, "We′ve been friends for a long time, so we didn′t become awkward around each other because of the love rumors. We just laughed it off, and we′re still close friends."

In March, Jung A and Onew were reported to be in a relationship after they were caught together in Apgujeong. Both denied the rumors, saying they were just friends.

After School will be promoting its title song First Love. Its first TV performance will take place on Mnet′s M Countdown.

SHINee’s Minho And Onew Use “Manner Legs”

A photo of Onew and Minho using “manner legs” has recently been a topic of interest online. 

On May 31, SHINee‘s Onew, Key and Minho made guest appearance on Tooniverse‘s “Nangam School.” During the recording of the show, Onew and Minho bent their knees or spread their legs apart to accommodate the height of the younger cast members. In the photo, the boys are caught receiving a bonk on the head for losing a game.

The two members were praised by viewers for their consideration for the younger kids on the show and were added to the growing list of male celebrities who have lately shown “manner legs.” According to photos circulating the web, any male celebrity who accommodates a female celebrity or staff member height-wise is considered to have “manner legs.”

SHINee’s Onew Shows Gentlemanly Manner

On the May 12 episode of KBS’ “Let’s Go Dream Team Season 2″  the four members of SHINee, comedian Noh Woo Jin, and Secret’s Sunhwa appeared to compete against a high school female soccer team.

One of the game involved Onew doing a penalty kick while carrying a female soccer player on his back. As the student was wearing a pair of shorts, Onew showed thoughtfulness as he tried to keep his hands in fists to avoid touching her bare legs.

Onew also beautifully sang a song, impressing all the female players.

Meanwhile, SHINee’s Jonghyun could not appear on this show due to recent injury. In his place was comedian Noh Woo Jin, who used to be a soccer player in high school.

After School’s Jungah Updates Fans for the First Time Since Scandal with Onew

After School‘s Jungah recently uploaded a selca up on Twitter, updating fans for the first time since the dating scandal with SHINee‘s Onew.

On April 16, Jungah posted on her Twitter, “Let’s laugh a lot today and spend a day filled with dreams~^^” along with a couple of photos.

In the photos, Jungah sports long, brown hair with cute black-rimmed glasses. She looks natural and effortlessly beautiful. She also throws up the peace sign and puckers up for a cute and mischievous look.

It was recently reported that Jungah was involved in a dating scandal with SHINee’s Onew on March 25. However, both parties stated that they are just close friends and nothing more.

Onew, who was recently swept up in a scandal with Jungah, is causing another stir because of photos that surfaced showing him smoking an electronic cigarette.

One of the photos released by a media outlet about the pair’s dating scandal showed Onew puffing on an electronic cigarette. Because of Onew’s usual proper and young innocent image, the photo has been a shock to many netizens.

The photos couldn’t have come at a worse time, as he just last week he was under scrutiny because of his middle finger incident. However, some netizens have spoken up in his defense to say that smoking electronic cigarettes is not a big deal.

SHINee′s Onew and After School′s Jung-A Deny Dating Rumors

Following love rumors and paparazzi cuts, the agencies of SHINee′s Onew and After School′s Jung-A have denied the rumors altogether, saying that "the two are close as senior and junior."

On March 25, a media outlet had reported that Onew and Jung-A have been dating for about a year, and that despite their busy schedules, found time to meet, mostly in Jung-A′s car. Paparazzi cuts showing the two together had been attached to the article.

A rep from Pledis, Jung-A′s agency, told enews, "The two are close as senior and junior. They′ve had meals together for a long time and we′ve known the two are close. We′re surprised about the sudden love rumors."

The rep also said, "We′ve checked with Jung-A herself about the rumors. She said they′re close friends, not lovers."

Onew′s agency SM Entertainment merely stated, "We will check with Onew himself. We′ve known the two to be close friends."

SHINee is currently promoting its new single Dream Girl while After School has been preparing for a new album to be released in April.

SHINee’s Onew Apologizes for Middle Finger during Broadcast

SHINee Onew’s middle finger became a hot topic when a screenshot of the SHINee member began spreading online.

On March 18, SHINee appeared on MBC FM radio, Younha’s Star Shining Night, which included a live online streaming of what was going on during the radio broadcast.

Before the broadcast began, Onew gave the middle finger to the other SHINee members across from him, not realizing the streaming was already happening.

The action was captured and distributed online as netizens argued whether or not it was really Onew cursing at someone.

On March 19, SM Entertainment admitted that it was Onew, who was sticking up his middle finger.
“Onew was playing around with the other members before the broadcast began and it was captured on video” said the company. “There was no negative intention and was merely a joke, which is why he is also very shocked himself.”

“Onew is very apologetic and self-reflecting over his action. We promise to make sure something like this does not happen again.”
