Finally unveiling what the top 0.1 percent visual looks like, Lee Min Ho filmed for the upcoming SBS drama,The Heirs. 

The Heirs is a drama set for a October 9 broadcast, starring Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, f(x)’s Krystal, CN Blue’s Kang Min Hyuk, Kim Ji Won, Choi Jin Hyuk, Im Joo Eun, ZE:A’s Park Hyung Sik, and more talented actors, drawing attention even before production began.

Lee Min Ho plays the character Kim Tan, the heir to Empire Group, who has everything in the financial world but born with pain he shouldn’t have to endure. He will be leading the 0.1 percent love line with Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, Krystal, and Kang Min Hyuk. 

Lee Min Ho’s first filming took place outdoors on August 22 in Paju. As a member of high society, Lee Min Ho exuded charisma, sitting in a luxurious car. 

As soon as Lee Min Ho came on set, his attention was on the script, preparing for the shoot and earning the respect from the staff members. 

He also brightly greeted each staff despite it being their first meeting and started off the shoot by yelling, “The Heirs, fighting!” 

More than anything, Lee Min Ho’s above par looks and carefully thought-out acting created the perfect expression of his character, showing Lee Min Ho has closely studied Kim Tan as he became Kim Tan on the set. 

Even during the break time, Lee Min Ho did not let go of his script as he discussed with the director more about his character and the scene. 

With Lee Min Ho’s passion for the drama, the first shoot continued with a good atmosphere.

The Heirs is romantic comedy about high school students living in high society. Things get turned topsy turvy when the students meets a girl from lower class and romance unfolds. The drama is expected to become a hit drama in 2013.

“The Heirs” Starts Filming with Lee Min Ho and f(x)’s Krystal

The upcoming SBS drama “The Heirs,” drawing high anticipation with its star-studded lineup, has started filming!

Lead actor Lee Min Ho uploaded a “proof” shot on August 23 KST of his first day of filming through his official Facebook account. In the picture, Lee Min Ho holds up the script for the first episode of “The Heirs,” sporting a short and clean hairstyle and dressed in casual clothing. He included the message in Korean, “The Heirs- The One Trying to Wear the Crown, Bear Its Weight” Kim Tan had his first day of filming. ‘The Heirs’ Team, fighting!”

Krystal of idol group f(x) also uploaded a “proof” shot through SMTown’s Twitter account on August 22 KST. In the picture, Krystal holds up the episode three script for the drama, looking cheerful and adorable in her casual wear.

“The Heirs”  is under the helm of “Tazza” and “Midas” director Kang Shin Hyo, and written by Kim Eun Sook who did “Lovers in Paris,” “Secret Garden” and “A Gentleman’s Dignity.”  It will center on the love and friendship of high school students from the top 1% of society. Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye lead the drama, with  Kim Woo Bin, Choi Jin Hyuk, f(x)’s Krystal, ZE:A’s Park Hyung Sik, Kang Ha Neul, and CNBlue‘s Kang Min Hyuk. The drama is set to premiere October 9 with a run of 20 episodes.

Lee Min Ho Meets Presidential Family Member in the Philippines

Continuing his concert tour in the Philippines, Lee Min Ho captured the hearts of several thousand fans, including members of the royal family. 

On July 6, Lee Min Ho held his 2013 My Everything Tour in Manila, where he was greeted by 15,000 fans in the audience. 

He performed songs from his fan-dedicated album, singing everything from to Love Motion.

After a long-period of waiting for fans, it has finally been announced that Choi Jin Hyuk is confirmed to be in the upcoming SBS drama, “Heirs.”

Choi Jin Hyuk, who has recently won over many fans with his charismatic and sexy role in the MBC drama “Gu Family Book,” will be playing the role of Lee Min Ho‘s half-brother, Kim Won. Lee Min Ho Will Have Different Promotional Singles for Each Country′s Concert+ Interview

Before his concert on May 25, Lee Min Ho appeared before the press to open up about his album and his fans.

The concert held this day kicked off his Asia tour, which is scheduled to go through Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, the Philippines, Hong Kong and more. Five or six more countries are also in talks to be added to the list.

This day, Lee Min Ho showcased performances for his new album My Everything. The actor had poured all his efforts into the album for his fans.

At the press conference, he said about his show and his album, "For the first time I′ve come to prepare many songs in concert format, and I expect I′ll be able to show new sides of myself because the tracks of the album are so colorful."

In order to satisfy the tastes of his fans across the globe, he revealed he′s chosen a new type of strategy.

"I have a different song in mind for the promotional single of my show in Japan," he said. "Since fans are different in each country, I plan to change the performances accordingly. I′ll approach each country with a different color."

For his acting career, Lee Min Ho will soon appear in screenwriter Kim Eun Sook′s The One Trying to Wear the Crown, Withstand the Weight - The Heirs. The drama will be about the love and friendship between rich high school students, and Lee Min Ho will co-star with Park Shin Hye.

Lee Min Ho said about the drama, "I believe writer Kim Eun Sook is a writer every male actor would love to work with. I′m honored I′ll be working with her this time. I still believe I have some time until the first episode airs. I′ll work hard for the drama as soon as my tour ends."

How do you feel about your album?

The word ′album′ feels unfamiliar, but I did my best. I should′ve met with my fans last year but I wasn′t able to because of my shoots for Faith. I′m looking forward to seeing them for the first time in two years.

We heard you worked really hard to prepare so many different songs. What was the most difficult?

I mostly sing ballads at noraebang (karaokes) but this time I had to sing songs with a faster tempo so that was hard. I tried to find my good voice while recording.

Have you ever worried about your image as an actor before releasing your album?

I would′ve felt pressure if I had been planning to appear on music shows, but I just started [on this project] thinking I want to enjoy it with my fans. I just released the album as a commemoration, so I didn′t care too much for my image as an actor.

What are your resolutions for today?

I didn′t get much sleep last night. I′ll try to enjoy my time onstage as much as possible because it′s my first fanmeeting in a while.

Which song do you like the most out of your album?

I personally like the song titled Pieces of Love. I just like ballads.

What are your plans for the future?

I′ll return with a good piece as soon as I finish my tour. Thank you.

Jung Yong Hwa Takes on “Heirs” with Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye

CNBlue leader, vocalist and guitarist Jung Yong Hwa puts on his acting hat once again. According to reports in local news agencies, the band member is set to take on a role in the new drama “Heirs,” which has previously announced other cast members Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye.

Local news agencies quoted an announcement from Jung Yong Hwa’s management agency, FNC Entertainment that confirmed his participation in the drama. 

“Heirs” will be the first time the idol is working in a drama with Lee Min Ho, and the third time with Park Shin Hye, who had been his co-star in his past dramas “You’re Beautiful” and “Heartstrings.”

The forthcoming SBS drama is attracting early buzz for its behind-the-scenes team. It is written by scenarist Kim Eun Sook of “Lovers in Paris,” “Secret Garden” and“A Gentleman’s Dignity.” Kang Shin Hyo of “Tazza” and “Midas” directs.

After charismatically protecting the king in SBS’ Faith, Lee Min Ho will be returning to television, holding hands with writer Kim Eun Sook.

Lee Min Ho will be starring in Kim Eun Sook’s new drama, The One Trying to Wear the Crown, Withstand the Weight – The Heirs (tentative title), which will run 20 episodes long with Kim Eun Sook as the writer and Kang Shin Hyo as the director.

On March 29, Starhaus Entertainment announced the news, adding, “He has always watched writer Kim Eun Sook’s productions and wanted to be part of it. He’ll be fulfilling his wish. We believe it will be a meaningful project working with a respectable writer and director.”

Writer Kim Eun Sook is the brain behind hit dramas, such as Lovers in Paris, Secret Garden, and A Gentleman’s Dignity. Kang Shin Hyo PD has worked on Midas and Tazza.

On March 14, Lee Min Ho’s agency, Starhaus Entertainment, announced, “In May, we are planning on releasing Lee Min Ho’s special album worldwide with a world live tour starting in Korea at the end of May.”

Lee Min Ho has prepared the album in the past two years and all proceeds will be donated to help people in need.

SNSD Yoona and Lee Min Ho Run through the Rain and Sunshine

Following the famous words of the movie Forrest Gump, Girls’ Generation Yoona and Lee Min Ho ran….and ran.

In recent photos revealed by French outdoor brand, Eider, Yoona and Lee Min Ho ran in and out through the city and forests.

The two stars visited Australia’s Blue Mountain National Park and Booderee National Park to film a commercial for the brand’s S/S collection. 

With the CF concept being ‘Wind is Everywhere,’ Yoona and Lee Min Ho allowed the wind to carry them everywhere, even if the weather conditions were not on their sides.

Despite climbing stairs and roaming through the deep forests, Yoona and Lee Min Ho kept bright smiles on their faces and didn’t even show a hint of exhaustion. 

The commercial is expected to begin airing on March 15.
