SHINee′s Jonghyun denied an eyewitness account that he went on a date with Nine Muses′ Kyung Ree.

On August 11, Jonghyun tweeted, "I see community sites have been talking about me a lot. To fill you in on what really happened, I went to see a movie with some friends, and they′re just my friends; they′re not celebrities. I hope no harm comes to those who had nothing to do with it."

He added, "I found out what happened when my friend sent me a picture. I′m happy that so many people care for me, but it′s late and you should get to bed~ I′m sorry to those who were worried about me. I′m sorry even though it′s not something I should be sorry about."

He was referring to rumors that started when a post was uploaded on an online community on August 10. The post claimed that the writer saw Jonghyun and Kyung Ree at the theater together, and contained a picture that the writer claimed showed the two celebrities.

SHINee′s Jonghyun to Return to the Stage on 5.23′s ‘M COUNTDOWN’

After a long and needed rest due to his nose injury, SHINee’s Jonghyun will be rejoining his members on Mnet’s M COUNTDOWN.

On May 22, SM Entertainment stated that Jonghyun’s health has improved greatly and he will be performing Why So Serious with his members. This will be the first time all five members will be on the same stage since promotions forThe Misconceptions of Me album began on April 29. SHINee will perform on M COUNTDOWN on May 23.

Jonghyun will also be present for the SHINee Debut 5th Anniversary Special Party! ☆ SHINee Day, taking place on May 25.

Meanwhile, SHINee will be wrapping up album promotions on SBS’ Inkigayo on May 26. The group will prepare for its upcoming Arena Tour in Japan.

SHINee’s Jonghyun Received Nose Surgery Due to Car Crash

It’s been reported that Jonghyun received surgery at a hospital in Seoul to fix his nose on April 9. He devoted his time to his recovery in order to solely concentrate on promotion activities in the future.

SHINee originally planned to release the second chapter of the third full-length album in April after finishing promotions for “Dream Girl,” the title track from the first chapter. However, the plans will have to change due to his injury.

SM Entertainment stated, “Because Jonghyun’s recovery is the most important, we’ll have to wait and see [about the next album].”

Meanwhile, Jonghyun got into a car accident on April 1. He was driving towards Gangnam when his car slammed into a guardrail.

SHINee’s Jonghyun Involved in Car Accident

SHINee’s Jonghyun has been in a car accident.

On April 1, SM Entertainment revealed that Jonghyun was involved in a minor car accident while crossing the Dongho Bridge in the early hours of the morning. The car ran into the railing and Jonghyun was sent to the emergency room.

It has already been checked that he was not driving under the influence.

In a phone call with eNEWS, SM revealed, “Jonghyun was on his way to the dorm from his parents′s house when he got into the car accident.” The staff added, “Currently, he’s being examined for a supposed nose fracture. If the results turn out to be a nose fracture, he may be hospitalized.”

When asked about SHINee’s future activities, the SM staff member replied, “Treating injuries is our first priority, so it’s difficult to say anything about activities.” SM Entertainment will decide what will happen after Jonghyun’s condition is more certain.
