Chloe Moretz covers Seventeen magazine

With her upcoming horror film "Carrie" slated to hit theaters October 18th, Chloe Moretz soaked up the spotlight by covering the October 2013 issue of Seventeen magazine.
While rocking a few poses for the Chris Craymer-shot spread, the "Kick Ass" beauty opened up about her family and reveals how she stands up to bullies.
On keeping her family close: "Never choose your friends over your family or a boyfriend or girlfriend over the family. My mom has always taught us that blood is thicker than water. No one will ever understand the dynamic of your family. Ever. We are the closest family ever and the most insane family ever. It may look weird to others, but to us, it’s life."
On surrounding herself with positive people:
"What my friends and I have in common is that we all strive to do something. They want to go to good colleges, be writers, publicists, fashion designers—whatever it is they want to do, they know what they want and they go for it."
On handling bullies :
"I have two gay brothers and two straight brothers, and my gay brothers were treated horrifically until they grew up and understood how to deal with it. I will delete you and I will block you, and you will not be a part of my life if you ever say anything bad about my brothers."
On dressing up for Halloween:
"I want my whole family—including my brothers—to be Britney Spears throughout the ages. They’d never all do it with me, only one of my brothers would, but I would want to be ‘Oops I Did It Again’ Britney in the red jumpsuit."

Chloe Grace-Moretz in Glamour magazine

Glamour girl: Chloe Grace Moretz looks way beyond her years in a new grown-up shoot for Glamour magazine in which she channels Old Hollywood
She's only 16-years-old, but Chloe Grace Moretz looks way beyond her years in a new grown-up shoot for Glamour magazine.
The starlet is seen channelling the screen sirens of the Forties and Fifties in a series of stunning black and white images.
With her hair coiffed in soft waves and a dark hue of lipstick applied to her lips, the teen embodies the likes of Old Hollywood stars such as Lauren Bacall, Marlene Dietrich and Ava Gardner.
'I’m wearing a lot of all black. I really love Winona Ryder—her look in the time right after Mermaids and Heathers, that first year of Johnny Depp and her,' she explains.
'They were the best couple ever— they’re like Romeo and Juliet!'
The actress, who regularly garners attention for her red carpet style, describes fashion as her 'princess time'.
'Fashion is my break. To go away to Paris and talk about clothes, that’s like my princess time,' she says.
Chloe says she's 'lucky' to be able to experiment with fashion, with several designers clamouring to dress her.
'I’m young, so I can play around. I’m lucky designers dress me, so I’m able to wear really, really, really crazy stuff! But there are brands that say, “We can’t dress you until you’re 20.” People who buy their clothes don’t want to see a $50,000 dress on a 16-year-old!' she says.
Stunning: With her hair coiffed in soft waves and a dark hue of lipstick applied to her lips, the teen embodies the likes of Old Hollywood stars such as Lauren Bacall, Marlene Dietrich and Ava Gardner
Modern edge: The Kick Ass 2 star also models some more modern attire, wearing a white knitted and studded dress teamed with buckled white wedges
Grungy girl: Chloe also dons fishnet tights, a floral dress and a black and blue knit cardigan adorned with star print in the shoot

Chloe Grace Moretz covers InStyle magazine

Chloe Moretz looks chic and stylish on the cover of UK InStyle magazine’s August 2013 issue, on newsstands now.
Here’s what the 16-year-old Kick-Ass 2 star had to share with the mag:
On the prospect of falling in love one day: “You think, ‘Who’s out to deceive me?’ That’s hard. Especially growing up and liking guys and, maybe, ‘Do you want to be in a relationship? Is this person trying to be in my life because I’m famous?’ You can’t just like someone. They might be using you. I talk to Julianne (Moore), her co-star in Carrie] about it and she says, ‘Look, just be careful. Trust your judgement but don’t get in too deep sometimes.’ Because, you know, when you’re young, you fall in love and don’t know it’s happening.”
On having high-powered meetings in Hollywood: “What have I got to be intimidated about? I talk to Donna [Langley, co-chair of Universal Pictures] or someone like that, and they’re like, ‘We’d love to do stuff with you. I’ll tell you our slate, tell us what you’re interested in.’…Sometimes they’ll just be, ‘It’s so weird, you are 16 years old. You don’t talk like my kid does.’ And I’m like, ‘Trust me, when I’m with friends I might.’”
On her mom and dad’s break up, and mom’s cancer diagnosis: “It made me realise, along with everything that happened with my dad, that your parents aren’t these godly figures. They’re not chosen by the heavens. They’re humans. Their bodies can fail and they can die at any moment. They make mistakes. They cry. They fight. It definitely, from a young age, put everything into perspective for me.”

Chloe Grace Moretz covers Nylon magazine

While continuing to promote her anticipated flicks "Kick-Ass 2" and "Carrie," Chloe Moretz soaked up the spotlight by covering the May 2013 issue of NYLON magazine.
After rocking a few poses in designer duds from Diesel Black Gold and True Religion, the 16-year-old actress opened up about her upcoming roles and her public image.

On small screen vs big screen acting:
"I always knew I wanted to do movies. The thing with TV is, people almost see you as a family member. You're in a house every week, and you're young and innocent. But if you're 19 or 20, playing 15, and trying to transition into your sexuality, people are going to be like, 'No, no, you're my younger sister!' Whereas for an actor in movies, there's a distance. They have to travel and to the theater to see you. Plus, TV is more of a job, and it can become kind of monotonous. I love spontaneity, which is why I love playing a different character ever few months."
On becoming the "Kick-Ass'" Hit-Girl:
"Who all looked at it and were like, 'Who knows what people might think?' They might be totally offended and never want to hear from me again, or people might love it and go, 'That is the raddest female-empowerment Angelina Jolie-type character for an 11-year-old girl.' It was a big risk. People were saying to my mom, 'What did you do to your child? You ruined her!' But I was like 'It was my choice! I wanted to do it!'
On her squeaky clean image away from the cameras:
"I'm like, incredibly straight-laced, considering what some 16-year-old are doing. It's probably because I've gone to nice events with big people there since I was a young girl. Kids my age at school are fighting to get into clubs and be around an open bar, whereas I've had the opportunity to drink or do drugs if I wanted to, and I haven't. I look around me and go, 'God's put me here for a reason. Why would I want to go take a drug or do something that can strip away everything I've worked for?' This business is not peaches and cream, and I've fought tooth and nail to earn this spot. I'm not a girl who's ridden on a last name or lucked into it from getting on one project that blows up. I've worked for 11 years, and I have to keep working, too, because if I sat back on my haunches right now, I could disappear within a month."
On acting in the Horror genre for the first time:
"I tried a new style of acting that I've never tried before. When I do a crying scene, I'm the type of actor who usually breaks right out of it afterwards, and I'm laughing and being silly. But with 'Carrie,' I wanted to try staying in character and being in that dark space all day. I'm not very serious Method. It's not like I didn't talk to my family or go crazy and not eat, but with the director and the actors I was Carrie all the time on set. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had, but it was one of the darkest, and I'm terrified to see the movie because it's the most vulnerable I've ever been."

However, we now can see Carrie White (Chloe Grace Moretz) fully drenched in pig's blood post-prom anhilation. She looks as creepy as the original Carrie (Sissy Spacek) but a little more twisted in the eyes.
