After School and NU′EST got to meet with He Jiong, the popular Chinese MC.

On August 27, After School posted a photo on its official Weibo account with the caption, ′With Mr. He Jiong, the God Yoo of China!! >_< We had so much fun, next time we′ll go to visit in China!!′

The photo shows He Jiong with After School′s Nana, Uee, Jung-A and Juyeon, as well as NU′EST′s Ren and Minhyun.

The photo is said to have been taken after having dinner.

He Jiong is a top star in China, and is known as the ′Yoo Jae Suk of China′. He′s currently the main MC of China′s most popular music variety show Happy Camp, as well as the Chinese version of The X Factor and audition show Chinese Diva.

NU′EST recently started to promote its third mini album Sleep Talking.

After School′s Nana Leaves the Hospital

After School′s Nana has left the hospital, but it will still be a while until she can perform again onstage.

A rep from the singer′s agency Pledis said on July 9, "Nana is doing much better now. She left the hospital on July 4, and she′s been trying to take care of herself and keep herself in top condition."

The rep added, "The doctor said she won′t be feeling any difficulties in her everyday activities. Still, we will decide on whether she′ll be able to perform for First Love after keeping an eye on her condition, as there are still some dangers regarding her health."

"We′ll adjust her schedule so that she won′t have to strain herself," the rep finished.

Nana bruised her pelvis while coming down from the stage at a music show on June 19. After School has been performing with six members out of eight, as Lizzy has also been suffering from an injury in her ankle.

After School to Perform Without Nana for the Time After Her Injury

Pledis Entertainment has announced updates on After School member Nana‘s condition and group activities.

Nana fell 1.2 meters off stage yesterday after recording for MBC Music’s “Show Champion.” Pledis Entertainment first announced after the accident, “While Nana’s injuries are light, due to the unexpected accident, she is resting from the shock. For her recovery, all schedules after today’s pre-recording have been canceled, and we will decide future activities depending on her recovery and health.”

Today the agency stated, “Right after the accident, [Nana] was moved to a nearby hospital and received an examination. During the first round of examinations, there were nothing particularly wrong, but Nana kept on complaining of pain, and after a thorough physical examination, [the doctor found] there was serious bruising around the pelvis.”

The agency further announced, “Fortunately, there is no problem with the bone but since the pain is continuing, Nana will only focus on recovering her health.”

Nana is currently admitted to the hospital and her scheduled activities are canceled. After School will be performing with six members for the time being.Lizzy is also still currently recovering from her leg injury.

After School′s Nana Hurts Her Ankle

                          

After School′s Nana has hurt her ankle, making it possible that she will have to stay away from her group′s trademark poles for the time being.
A rep from Pledis told enews on June 19, "Nana fell while she was moving downstage after wrapping up a shoot for MBC Music′s Show Champion. She didn′t hurt herself while she was performing; she lost her footing while coming down from a stage 1.2m high."

After School has recently been promoting its new single First Love with a sexy and complicated pole dance performance.

The rep added about Nana′s future promotions, "She′s not badly hurt, but she was pretty shocked, so she′s currently resting after taking a trip to the hospital. She wants to continue promoting but health comes before everything else; we′ll have to see how things go before coming to a decision on promotions."

After School Releases Comeback MV for “First Love”

After School makes their comeback today with their sixth maxi single and have released the music video for their title track “First Love.”

It has been about a year since the group released their “Flashback” single in June 2012. This time the girls comeback with a pole dancing concept.

Having gone though drumming and tap dancing in the past, After School has once again surprised fans with a unique and difficult concept. The girls definitely needed to gain strength and stamina to gracefully hold themselves up.  

The song was produced by Brave Brothers, same producer behind their 2009 breakout hit “Because of You.” Other songs on their new single include “8 Hot Girl,” “Dressing Room,” “Time’s Up,” “Love Beat,” “Cried While Doing Makeup.”

After School′s Jung A revealed that despite the love rumors, she′s still close with SHINee′s Onew.

The members of After School spoke at the press roundtable and showcase for their sixth single album First Love, held on June 13.

She said about her relationship with Onew, "We′ve been friends for a long time, so we didn′t become awkward around each other because of the love rumors. We just laughed it off, and we′re still close friends."

After School Releases CCTV Extra of Upcoming Single “First Love”

Hot girl group After School will be making their comeback very soon, and as a special bonus for their fans they released a CCTV (security camera video) extra through their official Pledis Artist YouTube channel.

After School to Return with New Single on June 13

After School will be making another charismatic and sexy return with its sixth maxi single.

Pledis Entertainment announced through a press release on May 27 that "After School, the group that put on powerful performances with Flashback last year, will be making a comeback following its 11 month break."

More powerful performances the likes of those from the intros of Bang! and Shampoo seem to be in store.

"The members have practiced for a long time in order to put together a more artistic performance that will numb the senses of those watching. They′re practicing even now for a perfect show no one can easily imitate," Pledis added.

After School Launches Activities as Global Models in Japan with MIXXO

After School will be taking its first steps into the global stage with MIXXO as the brand′s global campaign model.

The group attended the opening event of the first MIXXO branch in Yokohama, Japan on March 22, starting on its global model activities before the Japanese press.

According to the group′s agency, many outlets were at the scene to cover the event, and After School′s popularity was also shown in the number of customers and sales that hit the branch when the group acted as the day′s shop managers. Over 3,000 customers visited the shop this day, and the shop even managed to exceed target sales numbers.

With the event, After School proved it now leads in a new area as K-Pop singers and models.

Following love rumors and paparazzi cuts, the agencies of SHINee′s Onew and After School′s Jung-A have denied the rumors altogether, saying that "the two are close as senior and junior."

After School met with 3,000 fans in Thailand at a successful fan meeting, held on February 23.

At the CentralWorld Live in Bangkok, After School held its first fan meeting in Thailand with 3,000 fans.

After School performed several numbers including Flashback, Because of You, and Bang!, communicating their affection and gratitude for the support of the fans. 

More than 100 people showed up from over 50 Thai media outlets, staying throughout the fan meeting even after the media conference was over.
