Roman Atkinson(Mr. Bean)and his wife

Dinner date: Rowan Atkinson was seen with his wife Sunetra Sastry on Tuesday evening
He became famous playing the socially awkward Mr Bean who had more of a relationship with his teddy than anyone else.
But in real life Rowan Atkinson is far from his comedy character as he proved when he stepped out looking sophisticated during a date night with his wife Sunetra Sastry.
The couple enjoyed a romantic dinner following the 58-year-old's performance in Quartermaine’s Terms at the Wyndham Theatre.
Comfort: The couple looked very loved-up as they left the restaurant and headed to their car
When they got to the car park the duo put their arms around each other as they tried to work out the ticket machine.
Rowan and Sunetra met in the late 1980s when she was working as a make-up artist for the BBC.
The couple tied the knot at the Russian Tea Room in New York City in 1990, with Stephen Fry as Rowan’s best man.
Rowan is currently starring in the West End, playing St John Quartermaine, a lonely bachelor who teachers at a language school in 1960s Cambridge.
The play tells the story of the relationship between seven teachers over the period of two years and is directed by Sir Richard Eyre.
While the play has received broadly good reviews a few critics have said there is too much Mr Bean in the character.
Meeting fans: The actor stopped outside the theatre to meet his waiting fans
