SHINee’s Taemin and A Pink’s Na Eun Make Food We Never, Ever Want to Eat on ‘We Got Marri

From Alex to f(x)’ Victoria, MBC’s We Got Married has uncovered some of our favorite stars’ hidden cooking talents, but we think it’s safe to say SHINee’s Taemin and A Pink’s Na Eun should stay as far away from the kitchen as possible.

We weren’t expecting the young idols to be master chefs, but the June 1 broadcast of We Got Married proved Taemin’s and Na Eun’s cooking skills are equivalent to that of, well, a freshman frat boy.

What starts as an attempt to fry instant udon noodles turns into a ‘fry everything within Na Eun’s reach’ – from pears to a banana and even the banana peel.

When the idols pull the food out of the deep fryer, we’re not at all surprised so see their faces break into frowns, indicating that the food is inedible.

But Taemin puts it best, saying after one bite, “I think I’m getting motion sickness.”

The fried udon didn’t fare much better, as Taemin says, “Uh, this taste, [you know how] when you eat oysters, you bite sand sometimes? It’s that taste.”

2PM’s Taecyeon Says He Would Date Gui Gui in Real Life

On the upcoming May 12 episode of ”We Got Married Global Edition,” 2PM‘sTaecyeon reveals that he would be interested in dating Gui Gui in real life.

For this particular episode, Taecyeon’s buddies ZE:A‘s Kwanghee, 2AM‘s Seulongand MBLAQ‘s G.O came to visit the couple. When G.O asked the couple, “Currently you’re pretending to be married, but would you guys want to date each other in real life?” the couple gave divided answers. Taecyeon replied, “Yes,” while Gui Gui said, “No.” This caused the atmosphere to become more than a little awkward for everyone.

Gui Gui later revealed on the show, “I had no idea that Taecyeon would say yes. I thought he would say no since we come from different cultures and our lifestyles are so different, but today was the first time I saw him look disappointed.”

When Taecyeon was interviewed, he said, “I thought we were making new memories and having a great time together, but I think Gui Gui sees it all ending soon. I don’t really know what I’m supposed to do if Gui Gui thinks our current relationship cannot develop any further beyond this point…”

“We Got Married Global Edition” is an international version of the original “We Got Married” series where international male and female stars pretend to live the married life and learn more about each other’s respective cultures. For the global edition, 2PM’s Taecyeon is Taiwanese idol Gui Gui’s husband and actress Fujii Mina is FT Island member Lee Hong Ki‘s wife.

Taemin Thinks He Can Be Na Eun’s First Love in “We Got Married” Preview

Many fans were curious to see what the Taemin and Na Eun couple will look like together when news first broke that the two young K-Pop idols will be joining the real-variety show, “We Got Married.“

In response, MBC released a preview of the upcoming episode featuring the new couple and it shows Taemin and Na Eun at Jeju Island in a house made famous by the first love movie, “Introduction to Architecture.” The location seems to be a perfect fit for the two young idols, as the preview shows Taemin talking about the possibility that he can become Na Eun’s first love.

Viewers can also see how Taemin and Na Eun first met, with Taemin approaching Na Eun from behind, as she sits expectantly with her long hair gently fluttering in the wind. In the preview, viewers can hear Taemin say, “She looked so pretty with her long, straight hair blowing in the wind.”

Viewers can also see the couple enjoying the evening ocean breeze as Taemin and Na Eun frolic in the ocean and sit close together on the sand with warm drinks at hand, giving off a romantic atmosphere.

Taecyeon Romantically Carries His Wife Gui Gui Home in WGM

The upcoming episode of MBC Every1 “We Got Married International” will reveal the houses of newly wedded international couples.

Prior to revealing their home, Gui Gui asked 2PM‘s Taecyeon to carry her up the stairs as, “It is customary for the newly wedded husband to carry his wife to the master bedroom in Taiwan.”

Upon Gui Gui’s request, Taecyeon lifted her up and carried her to the master bedroom. At first, Gui Gui seemed worried, asking Taecyeon if he is okay or if she’s too heavy for him. However, she could not hide her delighted smile and complimented Taecyeon’s masculinity.

Taecyeon commented, “When I saw the male character carrying the female character in  ’Stairways to Heaven,’ I thought it was very masculine. And now that I got to do it, it was so romantic.” 

Moreover, Taecyeon installed a floor piano in their marital home for his wife. Gui Gui commented, “As soon as I walked in, I saw the piano on the floor. When I heard that it was my husband’s idea, I thought to myself, ‘he cares about home, too.’ I was touched.”

Why Do CN Blue′s Jung Yong Hwa and SNSD′s Seohyun Live in the Same Villa?

Jung Yong Hwa and Seohyun, who were once a virtual couple on MBC′s We Got Married, live in the same villa. What could this possibly mean?

According to tvN′s enews, nothing.

Jung Yong Hwa and Seohyun have often been targets of various love rumors ever since they appeared as a virtual couple on the infamous(?) virtual marriage show. The rumors intensified when fans found that they often wore similar clothes, bracelets and rings, and practically launched fans into a frenzy when it was rumored that they lived in the upper and lower floors of the same villa.

While looking into the stories of stars who were involved in ungrounded love rumors, enews also got to the bottom of the rumors surrounding Jung Yong Hwa and Seohyun.

Producers found out that the two do live in the same villa, but not in floors so near to each other.

It is true that they both live in a villa located in Cheongdam-dong. It is also true that Seohyun lives on the fourth floor, while Jung Yong Hwa lives in the first. The catch, however, is that Seohyun lives with her family, while Jung Yong Hwa also lives with someone else: his entire band.

Residents who live in the area said, "Seohyun lived here, and CN Blue moved in later. The band started to live here when FNC Entertainment moved nearby."

So much for romance.

Enews also uncovered a possible explanation to the items the two seem to share. Fans apparently presented them with couple items as they started appearing in We Got Married, and those could have ended up in the stars′ favorite items list without their knowing it.

One fan told enews that she once gave the two matching accessories, apparently in hopes that they will end up as a real couple. It could be that the two unknowingly started wearing the accessories and clothes.

Of course, no one knows what goes on among idols behind the scenes, but still, it′s apparently a bit too early to be jumping to exciting conclusions.

‘We Got Married – Global Edition’ Gets an Air Date

Good news for fans who were waiting to see the global newlyweds.

On April 2, MBC every1 announced that the first episode of We Got Married – Global Edition will broadcast on television on April 7. 

The show will air on MBC Every1 on April 7 at 11:30 PM, MBC Drama on April 7 at 1AM, MBC MUSIC on April 9 at 9PM, and MBC QueeN on April 10 at 11PM (KST).

The Global Edition has been gaining much attention and interest with 2PM’s Taecyeon virtually marrying Taiwan’s Emma Wu (Gui Gui), and FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki marrying Japan’s Fujii Mina.

The show will be aired in 21 different countries, including Taiwan, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and more through an agreement with Singapore’s Sony Pictures Networks Asia.

The cast held a press conference on March 28, which as aired live through Youtube with English interpreters.
