She was devastated by the death of her father Patrick from cancer just last month.
But Demi Lovato got back to work with a brave smile as the latest round of X Factor auditions took place on Thursday.
Joining her old friend Simon Cowell and new girls Paulina Rubio and Kelly Rowland, Demi picked out the cream of the crop of this year's talent at the LA auditions.
