The 2013 American Music Awards' nominees revealed

Awards show season is alive and well, and the 41st Annual American Music Awards just unveiled their list of nominees.
“American Idol” legend Kelly Clarkson and Black Eyed Peas mastermind will.i.am had the honor of announcing the names of the hopefuls in each category, and competition is going to be fierce.
The 41st Annual American Music Awards will air on ABC on November 24th.

Kelly Clarkson and fiance Brandon Blackstock scrapped wedding plans

She had been previously planning an 'earthy wedding' at her Nashville estate to tie the knot with her fiance Brandon Blackstock.
But Kelly Clarkson and her beau have now scrapped those plans and are going to elope with just the pair, Brandon's two children and a minister present for the ceremony.
The songstress made the revelation in an interview with People.
The American Idol winner says that the wedding planning process had been so 'overwhelming' and when details of the couple's nuptials were leaked, the pair had a change of heart.
'We are so busy that we finally just came to terms the other night and were like, "So, we change our minds and we want to elope." We just got so overwhelmed by it – all the decisions,' she told People.
'We sent out a save-the-date to everyone and then it got crazy and all the details were leaking.'
Kelly explained that her busy schedule, including a campaign with insurance company State Farm to teach children about safe driving, also played a big part in the decision. 
'Then honestly the planning – I have a Christmas record coming out. I'm doing a bunch of stuff with State Farm right now,' she explained.
'We have two kids who just started school. We're going to all these football games and soccer games and volleyball games and (Brandon)'s got one of the biggest artists (Blake Shelton) in country music. He's flying everywhere.'
After deciding to put the brakes on the larger scale nuptials, Kelly and Brandon sent out a stunning engagement photo and a short message to their friends and family.
'Thank you so much for understanding, but it's just going to be me and Brandon and his two kids and the minister,' Kelly explains the message said.

Maroon 5 and Kelly Clackson set to summer tour together

Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson are set to hit the road together this summer for an exciting tour!
The band will be headlining the 2013 Honda Civic Tour, kicking off August 1 in St. Louis and wrapping up on October 5 in San Diego.
Kelly will be a featured guest on the whole tour along with Adam Levine‘s The Voice contestant Tony Lucca.
“I think the live outdoor kind of summer vibe is always different than the indoor arena tour because there’s less emphasis on production and more on live music,” Adam said in an interview. “It’s kind of the purist form of a tour `cause there’s not too many bells and whistles.”
