IU and Lee Hyun Woo Go on a Late Night Movie Date?

Does going on a late night movie together mean anything?

On August 9, photos of IU and Lee Hyun Woo at the movies late at night were posted on online communities with the speculation that the two younger stars were on a date. Both celebrities were wearing very comfortable clothes with caps to hide their faces, bringing up more curiosity to the table. 

According to IU’s agency, the two stars were accompanied by their managers and it was just a friendly outing of two friends, who became close through hosting SBS’ Inkigayo together for many years. 

The agency made it clear that the two aren’t dating. 

Meanwhile, Lee Hyun Woo also appeared in IU’s music video for You & I.

IU’s Agency Plans to Take Legal Actions Against Those That Started the Marriage Rumors

Recently, a rumor started involving the October wedding between singer IU and Super Junior’s Eunhyuk.

On May 27, IU’s agency Loen Entertainment released an official statement. “We would like to make a statement concerning the recent rumors that spread through online SNS mobile messengers.”

The agency stated, “Firstly, we would like to say how sad we are that such an unfounded false rumor can spread so easily. We plan to involve the police to investigate and take legal actions against the person who started this rumor, as well as those that helped in spreading it.”

The agency continued, “In addition, we will also be investigating those that continue to make vulgar and negative comments about IU online. We plan to stop those people that make hurtful false rumors. We ask all of you that for IU’s sake, please stop making up more rumors. We would like to apologize to our fans for causing unnecessary worries and we hope to update you with good news. Thank you.”

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and IU Get Marriage Rumors

Following that accidental picture upload in November 2012, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and IU are once again tied in a rumor together, this time about marriage.On various online communities on May 27, rumors sprung up that a popular solo singer, who is currently acting in a popular drama, will marry a member of popular boy band in October.

The rumors say that the two are trying to convince their agencies to allow this to happen. There are even suspicions of pregnancy.

As the rumors began to spread through the internet, IU and Eunhyuk’s names have also been climbing up the real-time charts of various search engines, especially with IU and Eunhyuk’s photo incident.

However, IU’s agency, Loen Entertainment stated that the rumors are not true and are merely part of a fictional novel being written by someone. The company said it is speechless at the unfounded rumors.

Also on May 27, Choi Si Won tweeted, “Congratulations…Lee Hyuk Jae..”
The tweet was followed by Kangin, who added, “Is today April Fool’s Day? Kekeke,” referring to the recent rumors.

Sungmin also wrote in his blog, "Eunhyuk, congratulations on your marriage~kekekekek. It′s cheating that you′re going before me. Why didn′t you tell us about it in advance? kekekekekekekekekkeke."

Kim Woo Bin Used to Lie that IU was His BFF

If you thought IU and Kim Woo Bin were good friends, think again, because it’s all a lie. 

In a recent recording of SBS’ Incarnation, Kim Woo Bin appeared as a guest, where he confessed that he went around saying he was best friends with IU.

“I have a little cousin who thinks that because I’m a celebrity, I’m friends with all celebrities,” explained Kim Woo Bin. “I asked who my cousin’s favorite celebrity was and the answer was IU, so I changed my friend’s name on my contact list to IU.”

When Kim Woo Bin’s cousin didn’t believe that he sometimes eats food with IU, Kim Woo Bin took out his phone and showed IU’s name. “My cousin’s eyes got so round after seeing the number.”

Unfortunately for the cousin, Kim Woo Bin admitted on the show that he’s never even talked to IU and it’s become a big worry since his cousin adamantly believes he′s friends with IU.

G-Dragon to endorse makeup brand ‘The Saem’ alongside IU

Big Bang‘s G-Dragon has been picked up as the latest endorsement model for The Saem. He’ll be promoting the makeup brand alongside singer IU, who became its exclusive model last year.

The Saem stated, “As we felt G-Dragon would best express our 2013 campaign ‘Global Echo The Saem’, we’ve chosen him as the ‘Global Echo Star’. G-Dragon was chosen as the most beautiful face to represent the free-spirited, happy, colorful aspects of nature.”

G-Dragon has already begun shooting commercials, starting his official promotions for the brand this past February 4th. He also tweeted the photo below from the commercial shoot to give fans a better look at the concept.

The advertisements featuring G-Dragon will be revealed starting in March.
