The Butler-New York premiere

Stepping out to show off their latest work, the cast of “The Butler” lined the red carpet at the film’s New York premiere on Monday evening (August 5).
Turning heads in a little black dress and a bedazzled sling, Mariah Carey arrived at the Ziegfeld Theater on the arm of her hubby, Nick Cannon.

Also glamming it up for the big night, Minka Kelly took her turn in front of the shutterbugs in a one-shoulder printed frock, and, not to be outdone, actress Naomi Watts accompanied her partner Liev Schreiber, who looked handsome in a charcoal grey suit sans tie.
Veteran actresses Jane Fonda and Oprah Winfrey also made the stroll past photographers on their way inside to see their work on the big screen.
A historical drama, the motion picture is described as follows: "An African-American eyewitnesses notable events of the 20th century during his tenure as a White House butler."
Spearheaded by Lee Daniels, “The Butler” arrives in theaters nationwide on Friday, August 16.

Despite suffering a painful dislocated shoulder during a music video shoot, the singer took to the stage for a charity concert like a true professional.
And like any dedicated showgirl, her costume was of the utmost importance - so she dressed her cumbersome cast in no less than three differently designed arm slings.

In the snap, the 43-year-old appears to be sighing with disappointment over the ordeal, but her spirits later appeared raised by her new fashionable accessory - a silky sling.
'...dislocated my shoulder on the remix video with Jeezy, sporting a very fashionable sling for the next couple of weeks,' Mariah informed her fans.

The advertisement shows the singer in a lavender dress with the scent's bottle below her and the tagline “Realize your dreams.”
This is not the mother-of-two’s first foray into the world of beauty products, either. She has several other perfumes, such as Forever and M by Mariah.
