Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson go surfing in Australia

It was the day after their debut performance in Sydney, Australia.
And members of the pop group One Direction decided to have a little fun to celebrate.
Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson fit a little relaxation into their Sunday afternoon, by going surfing at Whale Beach the after hitting the stage in front of a sold-out crowd. 
Ready for a swim: Liam, 20, wore a black and read wetsuit, but not before showing off his muscular physique
Catching waves: Liam and what looked to be an instructor paddled their boards before enjoying the surf
A for effort: Louis was seen paddling furiously through the waves but couldn't hop up on the surfboard
Water babe: Liam has a successful career as a pop star but he definitely makes for a cute surfer
Keeping active: While the rest of their bandmates opted out, Louis and Liam were keen to have an action-packed day
Extra protection: One Direction's personal security guards came to the rescue as fans clocked they were at the beach
Time to go home: As admirers begin to notice Liam and Louis, they decided to end their trip at the beach
It never gets old: Surprised by the all of the fans, Louis shared a laugh with a surf rescue employee
