Selena Gomez tops Billboard 200 with Stars Dance album

Nabbing more success this time around than her other three albums, Selena Gomez's latest, Stars Dance, grabbed the top spot of the Billboard 200 chart this week.
Knocking Jay Z off the throne, the record sold 97,000 copies in its first week, making her the youngest solo female artist to hit No. 1 since Taylor Swift in 2010.

Back in 2009, Selena's debut album Kiss and Tell made it to No. 9 on the charts, while 2010's A Year Without Rain hit No. 4, and When the Sun Goes Down peaked at No. 3 in 2011.
It's been an exciting time for the former Disney darling who just turned 21. On Saturday she tweeted, "I just want to say thank you all for an amazing birthday week. The success of this album has been the greatest gift!"
