FT Island′s Lee Hong Ki showed he wants to continue acting in the future.
The singer spoke at the preview and press roundtable held for his film Passionate Goodbye on May 21.
In the film, Lee Hong Ki appears as an idol singer.
He said about his role, "It was great to act as the biggest idol star in Korea, when I′m actually not really the best in reality. I complain a lot in real life too, so it wasn′t very hard to act in my role."
On what roles he would like to take on in the future, he answered, "I would like to act in roles that are not singers, roles like devils in science fiction, draculas or that devil figure in Death Note."
About his first film, he said, "I was so nervous I couldn′t sleep. There are so many things I could′ve done better for my first film but I was able to pull through thanks to the efforts of others."
When asked what he thinks his strength as an acting idol is, he said, "Idols that act these days are really good. They′re very talented. I′ll have to work hard too. I′ll work hard to become the best in acting and singing."
