Liam Payne has blasted reports that he is quitting One Direction to spend more time with his girlfriend Danielle Peazer, stating that he “would never leave his best mates.”
The 'Kiss You' hitmaker was reported to be considering leaving the boy band as he was suffering from “terrible homesickness” and that the long months away from home travelling the world, in particular the US, were “killing him.”
The Daily Star Sunday even claimed that Liam's decision to quit was also based on his relationship with Danielle Peazer, quoting him as saying: “I can’t stand being away from Danielle. If it’s between the band and her, I’ll choose her.”
It seems the reports are just the latest in a long line of false stories about the boy band, as Liam has hit out at the claims, tweeting: “Thought I'd let you know this latest story is bulls**t I love you guys so much I love this band they're my best mates I ain't goin now werrr. (sic)”
Liam's certainly isn't going “now werr” as he and the rest of his bandmates are currently in the midst of their 'Take Me Home' world tour, which will be heading to Dublin for two nights before going on to Ireland and back to England until the end of April.
The tour will then travel the world including Europe, North America, Canada and Australia before finishing in Japan in November.
