Girls′ Generation (SNSD)′s Sooyoung has had to deny what can be called her second love rumor of the year, as a certain media outlet most recently set her beside the actor Jung Kyung Ho.
A rep from SM Entertainment said about the rumors on February 27, "The two merely got to know each other through group meetings at church."
An official from Jung Kyung Ho′s agency Fantagio also commented that "it is true Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung became friends through a group they are both members of," but then added that "they are not lovers."
One media outlet had reported that day that Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung had entered a relationship at the beginning of the year.
According to the report, the two happened to meet each other after Jung Kyung Ho′s release from the army in September 2012, and emerged as lovers early 2013.
An interview Jung Kyung Ho gave while he had been serving his military duties, in which he had said, "SNSD gave me the most strength and energy during my service. I especially want to thank Ms. Sooyoung," cropped up as part of the evidence that showed there was something between them.
Jung Kyung Ho appeared in the SBS drama Smile, Love and the film Running Turtle. Following his release from the army he was cast as the lead for Ha Jung Woo′s first piece as a director, Roller Coaster.
Sooyoung currently hosts SBS′ One Night of TV Entertainment with Yoon Do Hyun.
