On March 19, Se7en enlisted in the military to start his mandatory duties as a Korean man. He was escorted by fans, reporters, and a few YG Entertainment staff, but his longtime girlfriend, Park Han Byul was not seen.
When asked why Park Han Byul was not present Se7en explained, “Park Han Byul is currently abroad on a schedule, so I wasn’t able to meet her separately.” He later added that she wasn’t even able to see his new hairstyle.
Entering the army at age 28, Se7en said, “As late as I am entering the army now, I’ll do my best. A lot of people are worried because I’m a bit old, but I will work hard regardless of age.”
Se7en enlisted at the Uijeongbu 306th Reserve Corps to receive basic training before being assigned on a base.
