Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are set to star on the big screen together for the second time in the upcoming comedy Life Partners!
The 27-year-old actress and the 33-year-old actor previously worked together on the film The Oranges and they have since become a real-life couple.
Leighton and Adam will star alongside Community‘s Gillian Jacobs, Gabourey Sidibe, and SNL‘s Abby Elliott, according to Deadline.
The comedy follows “a codependent friendship between two very different girls — type-A Paige (Jacobs) and lesbian slacker Sasha (Meester). Paige has vowed that she won’t get married until Sasha has the same legal right and that works out fine until Paige meets Tim (Brody), a young and charming doctor. As a crucial vote on gay marriage approaches, the threesome struggle with issues of love, friendship, and loyalty.”

Sending off her rumored new beau first thing in the morning, Leighton Meester said goodbye to Adam Brody as he left her Los Angeles home on Wednesday (February 6).
The "Gossip Girl" star was dressed down in a long-sleeved T-shirt, blue leggings, and sneakers as she stood next to the "O.C." hunk's car.

After meeting on the set of the "The Oranges," reports say the two began dating several weeks ago after hanging out during shoots.
In related news, Miss Meester posted a photo of herself on Twitter earlier today with a guitar and the caption, "Music...finally buckling down and recording."

In something of a match made in heaven, the couple, who appeared together in 2011 movie The Oranges, are said to have been enjoying a secret relationship for the past few weeks.


Leighton, 26, and 33-year-old Adam are said to have taken their friendship to the next level after 'hanging out together' while shooting The Oranges.
An insider confirmed to Us Weekly: 'They were always close and friendly.'
The pair first sparked romance rumours earlier this month when they were spotted 'hugging and laughing' while taking in exhibitions at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
One eyewitness wrote on Twitter: 'They were getting cuddly today at the LACMA apparently? Hugging & laughing.'
And another tweeted: 'Just in the same museum exhibit with Adam Brody and leighton meester. Enough said. #lacelebsiting.'
Leighton and Adam - who starred as Seth Cohen in US teen drama TV series The O.C. for four years - also travelled to Bangkok together earlier this year where they were spotted at the Siam Kempinski Hotel in the Thai capital city. Adam was recently linked to 34-year-old director Lorene Scafaria - who helmed Steve Carell and Keira Knightley's comedy-drama movie Seeking a Friend for the End of the World - while Leighton has previously dated Austin Powers actor Aaron Himelstein.
