Lee Jong Seok Says a Fortune Teller Predicted He Would Be Successful

Though for some fortune telling may seem far-fetched, for Lee Jong Seok it ran home.

At the press conference for the film The Face Reader held on August 12, the actor said when asked whether he believes faces can be read, "My mother once went to have my fortune told four years ago."

He said, "My mother said she visited a fortune teller when I was 21 years old, and the fortune teller had said that I′ll be really successful when I′m 25 years old."

Lee Jong Seok, who recently rose to top star status through KBS2′s School 2013 and SBS′ I Hear Your Voice, is currently 25 years old in Korean age.

For the film he will be Jin Hyung, the son of Joseon′s genius face reader Nae Kyung (Song Kang Ho). He limps and is frail because he was underfed when he was a child, but he studies hard and makes it into the palace.

He will be donning hanbok and long hair, about which Lee Jong Seok joked, "I learned that your hair can really affect how you look."

The Face Reader is about how Nae Kyung tries to change the future of Joseon with his abilities. It will premiere in September.

Girls Generation′s Yuri to Make Big Screen Debut with ′No Breathing′

SNSD′s Yuri will be making her debut on the silver screen as a musician in a swimming film.

SM Entertainment announced on May 16 that Yuri has been cast as the lead for the film No Breathing.No Breathing will be Korea′s first film about swimming, and in the process will depict the love and friendship running among youths of this age. Lee Jong Seok and Seo In Guk have already been confirmed for lead roles.

In the movie, Yuri will appear as Jung Eun, a girl who dreams of becoming a musician. She is very laid back, and boasts an ability to contain much emotion in her songs. She will be involved in a love triangle with her childhood friends, played by Lee Jong Seok and Seo In Guk.

Yuri previously appeared in the KBS2 drama Unstoppable Wedding and SBS′ Fashion King, but No Breathing will be her first feature film.

The singer commented, "I′m happy I′ll be able to show something new about myself through film. I came to like the character after reading the scenario for No Breathing, and I started to feel like acting. I′ll work hard to make the movie a good piece."

No Breathing will start shooting from May 19, and premiere in the latter half of the year.
