Seeming to have put her acting career on hold since her marriage to Ryan Reynolds, “Gossip Girl’s” Blake Lively is back, and she is ready to hit the big screen again, landing the star role in “The Age of Adrenaline.”
26-year-old Blake hinted at being linked to the project in late September of this year, when she told British Vogue in an interview, "It's something that will be launching in a few months and that I'm really, really thrilled about."
"The main element of it is that it's about storytelling and it's about living a very one-of-a-kind, curated life, and how to achieve that,” she said. “There's nothing like it out there—it's without a genre."
Set to begin filming in March of 2014, “The Age of Adrenaline” is a romantic drama. Lively’s character is “a beautiful woman born at the turn of the 20th century, who stops aging after a near-death accident. She then goes on a worldwide excursion throughout the century without divulging her secret, until she meets a special man who shakes things up.
