Russia's assault on gay rights has touched many lives in and out of the country, but in a surprising move, Selena Gomez has been denied her request for a visa.
Reportedly because of her support for LGTB rights, the "Come and Get It" singer's scheduled dates were forced to be cancelled.
On September 23rd, she was slated to perform in St. Petersburg, followed by a September 25th concert in Moscow.
