The Great Gatsby-New York premiere

After a long wait from eager fans, the stars of "The Great Gatsby" unveiled the film adaptation at Avery Fisher Hall in NYC on Wednesday (May 1).
Hitting the arrivals carpet at the big event were stars Carey Mulligan and Isla Fisher, who showed off every ounce of their beauty. Leading men Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire made the scene in their best suits.
Also in attendance were Jay-Z, Florence Welch, and Nina Dobrev.
The Baz Luhrmann-directed drama is the first time the F. Scott Fitzgerald classic has hit the big screen since the 1974 film starring Robert Redford and Mia Farrow.
In the film, a Midwestern war veteran finds himself drawn to the past and lifestyle of his millionaire neighbor, Jay Gatsby.
The "99 Problems" rapper produced the score for the film, which includes tunes from himself, Kanye West, Florence + the Machine, Beyonce, and Gotye. "The Great Gatsby" hits theaters on May 10th.
