Yoo Gun will be making his acting comeback through the KBS1 drama Sweet Springs.
The actor will be appearing as Han Jae Sung, a broadcasting PD who is also the only son of the owner of Korea′s largest film production company.
Ever since his release from the army in December 2012, Yoo Gun has been studying acting and waiting for the right piece.
He said, "I′m happy I′ll be taking up a big role for my first piece after my release, but I′m also feeling the pressure. I′ll make sure I don′t let my viewers down by working hard."
Sweet Springs is about how the lead, who was adopted to his family when he was little, meets his birth mother and tries to come to terms with his two families.
It will air on April 29 in Cheer Up, Mr. Kim′s time slot.
