NU′EST Celebrates First Anniversary with a Concert in Japan

NU′EST performed in an exclusive concert in Japan to celebrate its first anniversary together.

The concert, NU′EST Debut 1st Anniversary Live Show Time, was held on March 15 in Tokyo. Though the group had never made an official debut in the country, it still managed to gather a 4,000 audience for the two concerts held that day.

Many fans from around the world joined in the festivities, and the NU′EST members also showed their thankfulness and love toward their fans through a variety of performances.

They started off with a performance of NU, Establish, Style, Tempo, which has a title that takes after their group name, and continued on with Action and a recent single titled Hello Hello.

The members also flaunted their individual charms in solo performances. JR, Aron and Baekho sang Nothin′ on You, Minhyun sang EXILE′s Tada Aitakute and Ren sang Tomohisa Yamashita′s Loveless, coursing effortlessly through powerful rap and soft vocals.

Fans became even more excited as soon as Hello, the group′s recent single, started playing, and sang along in Korean.

After wrapping up the concert with Face, the members left the stage, but were brought up again by incessant encore requests from fans. They promptly carried on, singing a Japanese version of Sandy and Beautiful Solo, a track from the group′s second mini album.

All fans then got to high-five the members in a special event after the end of the concert.

NU′EST left for Thailand soon after the concert ended to appear in the MBC Music Core special Korean Music Wave in Bangkok. The concert will be held on March 16.
